“Totally inept and wholly inadequate response to a house fire I and my family suffered. Slow to respond and provided incorrect assessments of the property. 8 days after the fire we've still not had any action taken and have had to do most of the running around ourselves. Certainly would not recommend their services, please do look elsewhere. If I could give them less than 1 star I certainly would.”

“A very straightforward experience when arranging my home and buildings cover. The renewal quote I received from my old insurer prompted me to search online. “Renewal was an easy process throughout. Our two premiums had a slight increase although there was no explanation for this. It would be helpful to know the reasons. We have not had to make any claims. Thank you for your service.”

Sorry if we've left you confused. I appreciate it's frustrating when your price isn't what you were hoping for, but there are lots of different rating factors that are taken into account when calculating a renewal price. Zoe from the HomeProtect Team

“My house insurance was easy to arrange online. I am deaf, so it is too difficult to get quotes etc online. I needed cover for a listed building, which not many insurance companies offer, and I was happy with the price quoted. However, I cannot rate the service because I haven't made a claim - hopefully I won't ever need to.”

“Homeprotect ended up being the best quote for us in the end, but they were very slow to get the price to us, nearly a week to have it looked at by the underwriters and get a confirmed quote to us. This was too slow as we were due to exchange on our house in two days and needed a policy to start then. Ended up having to take out an alternative policy out with another company and then cancelling that a week later to switch to Homeprotect. Which was a bit of a faff we didn’t need on an already busy week moving.”
