“Homeprotect dealt with our claim very quickly when we had a water leak from one of our showers, which soaked the ceiling and the wall. They arranged for someone to be there within 24 hours to sport and stop the leak and then arranged a company to carry out the repairs. If I had a criticism it is that their preferred supplier was not really up to the job, they took ages to complete the repairs and we now have creaky floorboards in the bathroom. Other than that though they handled tings well.”

“Into second month since I had a flood. So many calls asking for a manager you would not believe. No call backs What I have had to do as no one from Home Protect has been sent to make an assessment Stopped leak Sent pictures, video and had real time video chat x2 Gotten two quotes Removed damaged plasterboard and insulation on walls and ceiling. Given all measurements Removed damaged skirtings Taken everything to landfill Electrian to check lighting and remove damaged hard wired smoke alarm. I have had to get contractors in to carry out the work as after 5 weeks home protect couldn’t get anyone to do the work for them. I wonder why ! Maybe the reason was because they wouldn’t cover the price of materials nevermind labour. To date has cost me £9500.00 Home protect emailed today with a £2300 offer Avoid this company !!!!!!! Today I was informed 8 weeks for my complaint to be addressed”

“Insured for over 11 years. Made the first claim and trying to speak to anyone is an absolute joke. They don’t respond to emails. Would never use them again. Eventually spoke to an arrogant manager who was so patronising on the phone. Avoid”

“The claim we made with HomeProtect following Storm Arwen was dealt with very efficiently. Due to an overwhelming number of phone calls to them it was hard to contact them initially, but after that everything went very smoothly and all our problems were resolved very satisfactorily indeed. Many thanks to all who helped us. You made a difficult situation so much better.”

“Overall very good. Staff always polite and do try their best, however it did take a lot of time to process my claim and fair enough the accessors were busy but an email to confirm receipts etc and just keep in touch would have been appreciated. Covid is used as an excuse far to often. But I do appreciate I was not the only one with a claim wanting attention so overall a good service and that’s probably why I’ve kept with you Many thanks”

“I have been with HomeProtect for a few years now and find their Customer Service Agents extremely helpful. The main reason I am stating this is that they really listen to me and fully understand as a Senior Citizen I rely on their guidance and they have helped me to buy the best insurance for my budget.”

“Easy to buy a new policy on line but would have been even easier just to let the auto-renewal go through. But it was more expensive - loyalty isn’t encouraged. Saved money by cancelling my policy with them and buying a new one on line from the same company with all the same criteria. More work for them to create a new policy and more work for me to fill the forms in again.”
