Good level of cover and very reasonable premium. Easy to set up online.Have not had to use customer service or claims. Hopefully won’t ever have to, but good to know I have an excellent all round building and contents insurance cover, should I need it in the future.

Did everything via comparison to website all seemed to go well,made my final payment then noticed an error. I called home project up and managed to speak to one of their representatives John Charles. I explained what had happened and he resolved the situation, had to wait for a days just confirmed that it had been correctly sorted and receive an email to back that up. The problem was I had been put on a monthly payment plan for my insurance but I always pay the premium in full at the beginning of the policy. Let's see what happens on the 24th of the 10th 2019 hopefully no payments go through on my direct debit.

I found the customer services extremely helpful and when I had to cancel my policy as house was sold. the refund was instant and they company helpful and polite. No pressure to stay with them. Hence I have returned and have a very reasonable price for my insurance.

We have not had the use of our ground floor toilet since April. The damage was assessed in March and we accepted the estimate from their own contractor. He has started and stopped work several times. Home Protect assured us yet again last Wednesday he would phone us to arrange his return. He has not done so. We have sent countless emails; we have had no reply apart from the automatic acknowledgement. We have spent hours on the phone waiting for someone to speak to us. Now that I have read the similar experiences of other people on this website, I can see that something is very wrong. I am going to ask for help elsewhere. Be very careful.
