About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“Our organic Christmas Turkey was delicious… as a child I didn’t like Turkey… I used to call it watered down chicken, like the taste of one chicken got diluted into a bigger bird. Omg, so not with this bird from your farm. And of course the ensuing meals, gave joy for days after… even weeks as I made a soup with the last few bits that I’d frozen right through to mid January. “Prompt, well-packed delivery, AND they want to reuse the packaging materials. Saving them up to return them as requested. And then the products themselves! We now only eat meat two days a week, but want that meat to be sustainably produced and delicious. Gazegill Organics fulfill those criteria perfectly. “I must be totally honest with you, I have not purchased from you for a while. I have had a horrendous year, I don’t mean to whinge but I do so admire you for what you do and the way you do it that I feel I should explain a little. I have bought your milk, your meat and have loved every bit. But, I lost my wife earlier this year and have lost my way a little. I will be back I promise, I love your food, your ethics, everything. I spent 20 years as a vegan and it was people like you that brought me back to reality. I love what you do. I will return.”

“Gazegill are not the first organic meat provider we have tried but they are the best by a long way. They are in fact the 4th in an effort to find the perfect, fresh, not frozen, top quality meat suppliers. We were drawn by their 100% guarantee of grass only fed Beef and Lamb. In addition the Pork is perfect, being not too Piggy in flavour but sweet and mellow. We really like the packaging and the reliability of their courier, APC is 2nd to none and are reflective of Gazegill's attention to detail. The products seemed quite pricey, but only until we tried them at which point they proved to be excellent value. Certainly NONE of the other ordinary online suppliers come close to Gazegill. We look forward to a long relationship and to trying more from their excellent range. Thanks Gazegill. PS. We have no connection, even remotely, to the company!”
