About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“Ian and the backstage team have looked after me time after time in emergencies when I want something fast and a special cut or specific items and always deliver ( excuse the pun) on top of that the lamb and Mutton is as good as it can taste and easiest to cook to tender. There is no1 like this online or shops.. I cannot reccomend enough.”

I feel really pleased that this family farm are able to promote such good ethics and that their animals and ultimately the product benefits. Local from Lancashire is even better. “Love Gazegill. The better the quality of meat means you actually eat less. So although you may be paying a little extra, economically it’s much better value and actually works out cheaper.
