About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“Lovely fresh meats, amazing packaging and delivery. You always have such a great selection that it can be hard to choose!!! Have decided to order from you because I am not happy with the so-called organic meat in the supermarkets.”

“This is now probably the 6th time we’ve ordered from Gazegill, and yet again we were absolutely amazed at the quality and taste of the meat. First time trying the mix of mince and offal and it’s just great. Ordered 3 bags of the 3.2kg offer and I can’t get enough of it. Looking forward to ordering again next month. Thank you”

“I was on a hunt for organic meat beyond what you could get in supermarkets. I found one of their competitors first, but the amount we needed to spend before we could get free delivery made it too pricey for my family to afford. Then I found Gazegill a few months ago and I have not looked back. Even though you can buy some organic meat from places like Sainsbury’s….the quality is nowhere near the same! My family and I love Gazegill and the delivery company they use is also really good.”

Have just ordered another box of delicious skirt steaks; by far one of my favourite cuts they offer - family and friends rave about the taste any time I serve this. “a couple of steaks look good, 2 steaks were slimy and tough under the fingers, and two steaks, as you can see in the pictures, have a dark color with a green reflection of the color, it seems to me that two steaks are spoiled (rump steak) pork the meat looks good and the lard is good.”

“The shop price of 1 litre of milk used to be £1.50. And I'm talking less than 5 years ago - not 'back in the day'. Then it edged up to £1.75 a litre. Then a few months later £2 a bottle. I stopped buying at this price as I felt the company had got greedy. I rang up today to check the price of milk and was astounded to find that the price of milk is now a whopping £3.40 for 1 litre of milk. That's right. You have read it correctly: £3.40. They are obviously 'milking' the healthy organic thing for all its worth because no normal family can afford this crazy price. Gazegill - okay for the lord of the manor; not okay for anyone else. And to think that raw milk is easier to produce as it's straight from the cow. And there's no middle-man. Gazegill must be grinning all the way to the bank. Oh and by the way, when I called to find out the current price and made it clear that I'd not be buying more, they hung up on me!”

Hi there, On the basis that our organic raw milk is sold out a vast majority of the time, and usually sells out within an hour of being back in stock online, we would argue it Is good value. The demand for raw milk, specifically organic, has more than doubled over the past two years. Our production has increased by minimal amounts in comparison, as it takes at least three years for a female calf to become a fully-fledged dairy cow. We frequently have to turn down new customers who would like to purchase our milk, as intensifying our farming practices to increase our milk yield goes directly against our ethos. The cost of everything required for our business to run has increased significantly over the past couple of years too, as it has for almost every other business. We are sorry if you feel our organic raw milk has become too expensive for you. We have also reviewed your phone call, and the member of staff you spoke to did not 'hang up'.
