“Excellent service”

“It’s the first time I have really been comfortable hiring a car. I felt as though I had known the partners for years. Each was so gently personable and relaxed, with a no fuss attitude. There was no pressure, everything was explained simply. The extra service to be picked up and dropped off at the North Terminal for a tenner each way was worth every penny - as was their offer to pre-pay (at no extra margin) the Dartford Tunnel toll - normally a habitual nightmare for me having come a cropper several times over the years since the demise of the coin throw fun. On return, the car was checked and signed off straight away, plus they’d ordered me a taxi for the North Terminal trip as they knew only one of them would be at the business at that early time. I am genuinely looking forward to my next Gatwick Cars & Van hire. Its a no brainer for me. I am a very happy customer! Oh and the little 2 door Fiat I hired was perfect for me! The cost of all this was less than £100 for 4 days with just a £250 deposit. They live up to the great recommendations you are reading here. It’ so nice to be part of the Ying & Yang of good business. Thank you so very very much chaps!”

“Hired a Fiat 500 from Gatwick Car Hire and returned it without any damage and with what we thought was the same amount of fuel. However, they did not flag any discrepancies up in the fuel at the time,yet refunded our deposit a week later less £38.50: they fine you without telling you and of course you have no opportunity to discuss it. They did not respond to emails relating to the discrepancy and only admitted what they did when we phoned them and put them on the spot. I feel that this was unfair and disingenuous behaviour on their part - if they felt that there was a discrepancy they should have discussed it with us, and also charging £38.50 for - allegedly - a small difference in the fuel levels is indefensible and sharp practice. I suggest that anyone reading this review think very carefully before hiring vehicles from them.”

“Kind, honest and hospitality. Called at night but they kindly answered the phone and helped us for the next day’s early morning rental. Not located so close to us but we will come back to you next time, too. Staff never get us worried. The car is also clean and comfy. Thank you very much.”

“After multiple years of hiring cars with Gatwick Car and Van Rental, they have consistently been an incredible company to work with. They provide the highest level of service at all times, are flexible and easy to speak to. The cars and vans have always been in great condition and when problems have arisen while driving, eg flat tyre, they are quick and responsive to fix it. At this point, I will only use Gatwick Car and Van Rental for my car and van hire needs.”

“I feel that writing a review for this company and team cannot fully express how great a service GCVR gives. You have to experience it first hand, from speaking to the office or having the car dropped off to you. Cars are always clean and in top condition. We have been loyal customers for over ten years. We have tried the big companies, but have always had issues with the product whether it be dirty or damaged cars and, of course, the expensive add ons or coverage. This is not something we have experienced with GCVR: they have always gone above and beyond to make car or van rental stress-free.”

“Top draw across the board Second time I have used Gatwick Car & Van Rentals and it won’t be the last First time I rented a van. I saw they had a nice fleet of cars so this time I rented a car for my family and I Great customer support before the booking to rest my mind as it was a trip with a 1 and 3 year old. “I rented a van from this company. The service and cost of rental was excellent - the van was delivered to my hotel at Heathrow and I was able to return the van at Heathrow too. They were easy to contact via email, WhatsApp or phone. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will definitely use them again in the future.”

“Although Gatwick Car Rental did not appear to have a site at Birmingham airport our contact, Adnan was extremely helpful and pleasant. He assured us that they would have a car waiting for us at the airport on arrival and that we would be met by his colleague Kelvin. Kelvin was there on time and also very pleasant and explained the car's features. Had no issues during our stay and drop off at airport at 6am was simple and trouble free.. Also our deposit for the deductible was returned in a timely manner. Thank you Adnan and Kelvin.”
