“The packaging was opened and the screws were missing.. Although contacted immediately we are still waiting for the screws and the wood was warping so we had to buy our own which was frustrating as specific sizes and lengths are needed. Garden Street are not to blame for theft but the inability to replace screws quickly made it much harder to assemble and it is wonky. This was our second purchase and they do look nice”

“Ordered 1st May for stock due 17th then moved to 31st advised delivery 15-20 working days checked again today and still no stock, no one keeps you updated have to chase them it’s really poor service”

“The shed arrived on schedule but we were told it would be 6 weeks before being assembled - we were never warned this would be the case so my husband assembled it himself - in the end it was fine but I feel you could improve your communication a bit better”

“We wanted two awnings for our south-facing patio doors. I rang Garden Street and the receptionist was extremely helpful, emailing me all the relevant information I had requested with no pressure to purchase. We ordered the awnings within the day and they arrived on the appointed day. The outer packaging was damaged on arrival and I informed Garden Street immediately. Again I was contacted and asked to confirm how much damage was done to the contents - thankfully none! The awnings were fitted the following week and we are absolutely thrilled with them. No more living behind curtains on sunny days - we now have shade in the rooms while still enjoying our garden outside. I would readily recommend Garden Street for the quality of their product, their competitive prices and their excellent customer service.”

“We ordered a Norfolk Leisure Armona Sofa set on the28th May 21 just before the Bank Holiday. I was slightly concerned after reading the other reviews about the delivery time. I didn’t need to worry it was delivered on Friday 4th June by courier. The Courier company rang the day before to arrange a suitable day and time of my choice. They then rang just prior to arrival to check it was a convenient time. The delivery man was helpful and polite. So no problem there. It was all in one box so everything was present and correct. It took me and my husband 2 hours to put it together, the first chair took longer but once we had done that one the others were quite easy. The coffee table took 5 minutes. The set looks great and is comfortable, all in all an excellent purchase with good service and delivery times, absolutely nothing to complain about. I like the fact that the cushions fit in the storage coffee table, I have now placed it all together and ordered a cover for it. Very happy customer, I would deal with this company again.”

“Absolutely appalling experience. Poor communication 14 days later from Gardening EXPRESS no product. Received an email eventually saying no stock and I can request a refund. After multiple attempts to contact as only a chat facility I was told I couldn’t have a refund despite it being offered and no stock so have now referred their dreadful service to my bank for a refund. AVOID at all cost.”

“Delivery took a long time, delivery driver very pleasant carport was extremely heavy, not very good quality for the price some joints were very flimsy, also TERRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS my husband is a competent diyer and he struggled with these instructions, would think twice about purchase!”

“I ordered two items. One arrived very quickly, the other didn’t arrive. When I rang up about it, member of staff did not seem particularly interested and claimed that it was less than the agreed number of working days since the order. She was wrong about this, but didn’t apologise when I pointed this out to her. She claimed the item was on its way to me, but she couldn’t get the tracking information to work. She promised to ring the warehouse later that day. She rang me back much later to say that the item had got lost. She arranged for a new one to be sent out. This came quickly, but without any communication. It just turned up one day. It was lucky we happened to be in. I haven’t finished putting the composter together, but it looks as if two bits are missing.....”

“Although we had to wait due to demand, the shed was well worth it. Lovely shed easy to put together and solid fits together beautifully. Driver was polite and very efficient couldn’t ask for better service.”
