“Having placed an order for a computer desk on the 28th December and receiving an e-mail on the 5th January to say this had been dispatched I then needed to chase up delivery details which I did on the 11th January. The customer service department kept saying they would contact me with details. Something they never did. After chasing these details again, and this company blaming their suppliers I have finally been told the product is now out of stock and a refund will be arranged. I just feel that I have been lied to throughout this whole process with them trying to blame someone else instead of taking responsibility for their failings. Would never order anything again and would certainly not recommend them to anyone.”

“The actual cabin is mostly good quality. However, the instructions are awful! You have to work from drawings alone and much of it is guess work. I ended up having to pay a professional carpenter £450 to help me. He was seriously challenged by the instructions too. We had to work by trial and error which took us 3 whole days. Not impressed. Also the wooden base provided was not big enough for the structure. We had to buy more treated wood and enlarge it. If the company provide step by step instructions I would recommend this product. Until then I would look elsewhere. Dear Garden Chic. Thank you for your email. I did contact the retailer both in advance of purchase with questions about whether I would need assistance with assembly, and after I received the instructions and cabin. I was assured that as long as I had "a reasonable standard of DIY" that I would have no problem assembling the cabin. I also phoned to complain about the poor quality of the instructions as soon as I had removed tha packaging. I was told that the drawings were "very straightforward" and "easy to follow". The step by step instructions were included, but for a completely different 4 sided cabin with a pitched roof. I was informed that there were not specific instructions for my cabin. This in my opinion constitutes mis selling. If you are prepared to reimburse me for the funds that I was forced to pay out for a professional (who had never seen such poor instructions) I will consider amending my review. Best wishes Carl”

“good delivery service driver very helpful cabin had a few problems with drawings but sorted one thing to say the roof felting was of poor-quality good job we got the roof shingles also the roof felt is very thin you could just rip through it and any strong wind would just lift it up but other than that looking forward to painting outside of cabin all electrics now up and running Christmas lights all round Many Thanks Dorothy HAVE A GOOD ONE”

“Recently purchased a Handy Vertical Log Splitter 8 Ton - having had several specification queries prior to purchase which were answered efficiently via phone -ordered - arrived undamaged within a week after a small amount of assembly was good to go - very impressed with build quality and finish and would recommend log splitter and company 10 out of 10”

“advertised a white christmas tree and what i received was not white. they said i need to pay £30 to return the item which cost £64.99. no help whatsoever even though they admitted in writing that the item received was not what was advertised. absolutely useless - will never use this website again!!!!!”
