“Would be helpful if you either made the delivery more flexible or stated at time of purchase what day the delivery would be on. Missed the initial delivery because you could only deliver on a Thursday. Made arrangements to take the Thursday off to receive the door, only for the driver to call and advise that it would now be delivered on the Friday. The purchase through the website was really easy. Staff returned emails and phoned to discuss delivery options. Just a shame it wasn't made clear from the start the the delivery would be restricted.”

“Very pleased with this door, arrived fitted to its metal frame making installation so easy and simple. As the point of feedback is to improve the product I will comment that the door latch actuating bars had very rough and sharp punched slots that would in time damage the plastic latches, these needed rounding off. Secondly, there was no consideration given to the fitting of the draft proofing brush along the door bottom. Alan.”

“The side opening door that I chose was a discounted offer at the time of ordering. I took a chance to order without seeing the door first, but I arranged delivery on a set date for self installation, being a competent DIY er. The door arrived exactly on the time I was told and the driver was courteous and helpful. It was several weeks later that I had time to fit the door which I managed with the help of one other. The instructions were simple to understand and all fittings were present. The removal of the old door and installation only took a few hours. The quality of build and materials used are of a very high standard and the measurements were spot on. Very pleased. TA”

“Two reviews- one for delivery and one for the product etc. The lorry was the oldest and biggest we see in cornwall. Not drivers fault. We both had to lift the garage door and walk it 400mt to drop it in my drive-plus the chaos the lorry caused in the locallity. Sat-navs can be programmed to inform if locations are unsuitable I hope the driver is OK The door itself is very good except for the open holes down each side. The instructions are usual for any product -OF NO USE- had to phone to explain certain events (not very helpful) Have now installed the door and it is as expected (a few design faults) For the price of this door it is not to bad but a few extra £s would have made it very good. I would recommend it but witha care sign.”

In regards to deliveries, we do give this information clearly on order, you should have also received an email giving further information once ordered. We do ask that if there are any access problems to notify us in advance so that a smaller verhicle can be arranged. “The company supplying the door probably deserve a higher rating than Normal, but the manufacturers only deserve a poor rating. The ordering process was simple and it was delivered on time. However the supplier did not advise when it would be delivered and the first we knew it was being delivered was when the driver phoned to say he was on his way. he arrived on his own and I had to help unload the heavy door. It was just as well that I had fitted a garage door before and that I am an engineer as the instructions were very poor, the photographs were of very poor quality. There were omissions in the instruction sheet. One of the omissions was the second transit bolts - difficult to spot and without removing them to door would not open. The locking mechanism and catch has been modified and bears no resemblance to the instruction sheet and I don't like jigsaw puzzles. A comprehensive tool kit is required especially a 3/8 drive socket with an extension tube to remove the upper transit catches which were mentioned in the instructions. The door itself is not water / draught proof as the frame and the main panel do not mate as the main panel is corrugated. I was using it in an unexposed aspect but it certainly would not be suitable for exposure to driving rain. There should be a "filler" of some description between the two parts.”

“Really good quality door with faster than expected delivery. Easy to fit. Only thing that could have improved service would have been phone call or email from company to advise when delivery was going to be. Only got phone call from driver 1 hour before he arrived so had to leave work at very short notice.”
