“I bought a pair of boots in XL width which were much too wide, but the L width are barely wide enough. Seems strange.”

Thank you for your review. With the boots, there is a set width on the boots depending on the size. L in thesize you got on this order is 41.3 cm width and XL is 44.3 cm. If you get the shoe half a size smaller, then the shaft width differs, L is 39.3 cm and XL is 42.9 cm. I cannot see what size the L you got was, but if there was a drastic difference, wondered if you may have got the smaller size shoe also? This info may also help with finding a boot that is a better fitting for you. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“It's a great shame but Gabor seem to have made the 'wider' shoes narrower. I already own a couple ofof pairs of their wide fit shoes, which are very comfortable, but this is the second pair I have recently tried that whilst classed as 'wide fit', are to narrow. So although they were very pretty, I had to return them.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you feel that our wider fitting shoes are not as wide as you have had before. You may find that getting a half size larger helps with the area within the shoe, the extra length is minimal however it does create more room and for many customers works very well. “I love Gabor shoes. I'm a stewardess and I have tried just about every type of court shoe available and always come back to my Gabor courts, they are comfy, solid, stylish and fit the requirements of my job. I've had many other pairs of Gabor casual and dressy shoes and love them, they are gorgeous to wear fit well and look amazing.”
