“The insoles are not spongy enough. Boots look nice but no good as there isn't enough padding in the soles so returned.”

“Beautiful shoe, true to size, and, as with all Gabor, fits like a slipper. Gabor is my go to, and this is my second pair in this style. They are so comfortable for everyday wear and so dressy too.”

“Shoes were great. The delivery, however, was appalling - through dpd. Parcel was just dumped at another house, although the driver said he had delivered it personally to me. If I hadn't been resourceful in scouring the neighbourhood the parcel would still not be located.”

“Imaginatively designed , attractive in a variety of lovely colours and materials. The ballerina flats are the most comfortable shoes l have ever worn and l walk in them for miles . The shoes also keep their looks.”

“Bought the beautiful patent knee high boots size 6. Unfortunately, I could barely do the zips up. My calf circumference is 39-40cm., which I assumed was ‘regular’ as I’ve never had a problem before. Sadly returned as too tight. Please, please put the calf circumference in your size guide. It would save a lot of time returning goods.”

“I absolutely love Gabor shoes. They are so comfortable and such good quality. I always look at Gabor first as they do small sizes, which are often quite hard to find. I have just received my suede ankle boots which are lovely. The current trend for huge clumpy boots wouldn't look right on those who are petite. Thank you Gabor!”

“My boots were beautiful, but unfortunately didn't fit. The whole experience was great except for the return! I purchased two pairs of boots, which arrived as one package. I had no problem paying to send them back but I did have a problem paying two lots of postage when they were sent as one item and I had to return as two packages. Thought that was a bit disappointing and the postage was a lot.”

“I have been wearing Gabor shoes for some years. and have always found them comfortable and they retain their shape and smart appearrance longer than most. Following cardiac surgery my right foot is somewhat puffy and some shoes I can no longer wear. Using a leather half sole insert in my left shoe has solved the fitting problem, thankfully. I can no longer tolerate more than a minimum heel as I also have arthritus in my left knee so my walking is not as smooth and easy as I would like. I like the availability of the same style often in a variety of colours and finishes - black/navy/red/nuetral and often with a mixture of leather/patent/suede. I tend to prefer a ballerina style with a proper heel rather than a one piece sole and heel. I don't like too many add on bits and pieces, tending to rely on the basic design and a couple of different finishes of material of the same colour for impact. A statement bow on a shoe is useful for a more dressed appearrance to go with more 'event' type outfits. The fittings are consistent which is helpful. My only prefrance would be for the shoe to be a little more open around the top of the foot to avoid the 'closed in' look, but on the whole, Gabor is one of my 'Go To' brands. Happy to recommend.”

“I ordered 4 pair of shoes. One pair had been previously worn. Suede on the toes and sides of the shoes was worn. Sides of the shoes were also dirty. I contacted customer service and was asked to provide photos. I provided photos and the response I received from Jack was that the suede was damaged in transit and I should use a suede brush to repair the shoes. I find it outrageous that the Charles Clinkard provides such poor service. I will not order from this company again.”

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your recent experience. I have reviewed the conversation you had with customer services I can understand why you're unhappy. My colleague was trying to explain to you that some types of suede can appear faded, particularly if the nap (the tiny fibers on the surface) have been flattened or marked. This can happen sometimes when they've been in the box a little while or in transit. However, brushing suede with a suede brush can restore its appearance by lifting the nap and removing dust or dirt. That said, our warehouse should have inspected the items and brushed them prior to dispatch to prevent you from having to address this yourself. As you’re overseas, we believed offering the option to try resolving this at home might be more convenient than arranging a return. I hope you will accept my apologies for the confusion and inconvenience caused, and that the explanation above provides clarity and encourages you to consider shopping with us again in the future.
