“Ordered at size 5 and my calf measurement is 41” unfortunately as beautiful and soft as these boots where, I couldn’t zip them up past my calves, I don’t have fat legs I thought I had very slim calves, so please measure your calves first before ordering, if you measure 38” you should be fine”

“These boots are supposed to be wide fitting but I would consider them to be narrow. So disappointed otherwise they were exactly what I was looking for.”

Thank you for your review and for sharing your findings with regard to the fit of these boots. This will help others when browsing. If you maybe try a half size larger, you may find that the extra length is minimal, however it creates more area within the shoe so a roomier fitting. “I have always found Gabor shoes to be the very best quality and exceptionally well made and finished. My latest purchase live up to that expectation and look exceptionally good as well as being extremely comfortable and stylish. I am so pleased to be able to purchase shoes from Gabor in half sizes (7 1/2,)as that half size really does make a difference and which is why they always fit me so well. My recent purchase was in the sale, which was an added bonus”

“Boots large for a size 6. I always buy a 6!from yourselves. I have had to put a thick inner sole in. The actual sole of the boots traps mud and stones. A really poor design.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The Dublin Chelsea boot is a wide fitting, which may be why it differs from previous styles if they have been a standard fit. But I am glad you were able to find a solution so they are more comfortable. This is a fashion boot so can unfortunately collect debris but this can be easily dislodged due to the flexible sole and long tread. We hope you shop with us again.
