Did not keep us informed of order status, then used a courier who were next to useless. Appreciate that this is not your business per se, however we are your customer and it is your responsibility to ensure goods are delivered in a timely fashion. We should not have to be continually chasing. Also was VERY disappointed that the sofas were just unceremoniously dropped off in massive boxes and we were left to deal with them. If you were on your own there is absolutely no way on earth you would be able to get them out of the boxes. Very very poor service.

Your staff in-store (at different times we went to the St Austell and Plymouth branches) are great, really helpful, and your customer service staff also seem to be doing their best. We're also really pleased with the furniture. The problem is with your courier, V1 Distribution. Their online service is appalling and they repeatedly scheduled delivery dates that didn't work for us. We needed the furniture on a specific date, and bought stock items and ordered/paid in full well over a month in advance in order to facilitate this; we also repeatedly made clear that we needed the items delivered on 27-28 September because this was when we were moving house. It took V1 absolutely ages to get the memo, and they were rude and dismissive when my wife phoned to chase them up. When they eventually did schedule delivery for 28 September, the guys who turned up immediately told us that the three-seater sofa we'd ordered wouldn't fit in the house, and we basically had to negotiate with them to at least give it a go (it did fit in, albeit through a downstairs window). Tl;dr you need to either bring your courier/delivery operation fully in-house, or employ actual professionals to do it.

Thank you for your review. Although criticism isn’t nice, we appreciate you sending through your comments. Having feedback whether good or bad ensures that we can ensure our service is customer focussed and efficient. The courier company we use carry our many nationwide deliveries for us on a weekly basis with many happy customers. Very occasionally there are challenges aligning delivery areas with customer requirements, but checking the courier log although you were offered an earlier date which you had the right to refuse, a mutually convenient date was subsequently booked for a few days later. The courier company have to do a risk assessment to ensure the furniture is not damaged on delivery which is why the access issue was raised. It was kind of them to deliver it through your window.

Delivery on time and good communication around this. However, It was a struggle to put it together as it’s a large sofa. Sofas purchased from other companies have been assembled for us at the point of delivery. So this was disappointing.

Still not revieved! the base arrived with no glass top refused delivery of part of item as coffee table with no top of no use was supposed to be delivered today to be rescheduled again until monday suggest you consider looking at your chosen delivery company. thanks

The service was good in terms of communication and speed of delivery. I didn't expect the items to be delivered in such large unmanageable boxes with what seemed like excessive packaging. I appreciate the care taken to ensure they arrive undamaged however we had industrial size boxes to try to get rid off. I would have paid extra for an unpacking service of you made it available.

There were a lot of delays in the delivery all outside of Furniture World control however I do genuinely think there could have been more proactivity from FW to help keep me informed. That said sofa is lovely price is great and the delivery (and team) was great

Ordering process was simple and easy however the delivery was poorly managed with only 12 hours notice of the delivery date and then delivery that did not arrive on the date requested. The delivery people couldn’t unload the unit without help from me and my friend.

Unfortunately, it turned up damaged. We had no time to get it returned so we will keep it. Despite all the packaging, it had this damage. Photo is attached. Otherwise, its a nice unit.

Good service but mislead by the description of sideboard with solid oak top. The top is all oak but it’s not solid the edges are solid but it’s a thin piece of oak in the middle with timber batting underneath to support it and sounds hollow when touched.definetly not solid center more of a veneer thickness size of oak on battens. Very patchy spray paint finish to the side board and the draws will not sit in the center of opening when shut, leaving the gaps uneven. Poor joinery work, patched and sprayed to barely passable standard with roughly routered grooves on the top of the oak counter. But for the money it’s not a bad product. The company itself was great to deal with and great delivery service. Just let down buy the quality of product compared to description and compared to others I’ve viewed. It’s £100 cheaper than others but it shows

Nabraska sideboard purchased and its lovely. Can't fault the product. However your chosen delivery sevice is appalling. You guarenteed me delivery within 48 hours and l actually received it 8 days later. There is an email address to change delivery. I told them l wasnt going to be there and they said when will l be?... l said Friday morning and all was agreed. Well they came in the afternoon instead and gave me a 2 hour slot time so l missed it but was left a calling card with a time on it that was 2 hours after the given slot anyway. I rang again on that evening to say l missed it can you re-deliver and he said he couldn't come until Thursday!! So l explained again l am not there to which he replied ok then Tuesday!! I waited in all day this time and didnt rely on said time slot. And finally got my order! This has put me off ordering from you again.

We're so happy to read that your sideboard is lovely. However, we are devastated to read that our courier has let us down on this occasion. We use several different couriers and would hate for you to be put off buying from us again due to this experience. We do use a variety of different couriers and would recommend if you do wish to purchase from us again we use a different courier to the one we used for you last time and hope that we can improve your experience purchasing from us. We do wholeheartedly apologise that your experience with us wasn't 100% positive but we will review your comments and the courier we use and will investigate what happened with delivering your order so that future customers do not experience the same as you.
