About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“Great to find a company that cares and offers excellent service. We have had 2 separate orders from furniture World, unfortunately, although the items were very well packaged and protected, both deliveries arrived on time but with minor damage (not Furniture World's fault). Sue and her staff were brilliant arranging replacement units at their cost. Very impressed. So much so we are returning from Sussex to Cornwall to arrange to buy a bed and bedroom units for our Grandson's room in October.”

“Wanted to update the look of our living room furniture and found Furnature World online, found a style I really loved in the truffle grey and hardwood tops. When looking at these noticed they offered a Finance option which was even better. Order went through straight away with delivery within a couple of weeks. On the delivery day the driver rang and updated me of when they were due to arrive brought all the furniture into the living room really polite and helpful couldn't have asked for a better service. After unpacking and setting up the furniture I was over the moon with the style and quality of the 3 items. They were so nice I got the carpet cleaned as it was letting the room down!”

“Absolutely rubbish service. I ordered my furniture in may of 2021 and have only just received the ordered. Each month my delivery date was pushed back even though the website continued to state 6-8 week delivery timescales. Customer services are poor. They assured me they would waive the delivery fee - I received my invoice and the charge is still there. The furniture is lovely (Henley oak sideboards) but the service is shocking. I will never be using this company again.”

“Extremely good customer service, in store, on the phone and the warehouse/delivery staff. They helped me out with a specific request and went above and beyond to get my delivery to me. Very happy customer. The product is good quality and arrived in perfect condition, thank you”

“Placed the order in Jan 2022 and was delivered in four weeks much sooner than expected, the sofa was for a teenager's games room. It was easy to assemble and set up.”

“There were a lot of delays in the delivery all outside of Furniture World control however I do genuinely think there could have been more proactivity from FW to help keep me informed. That said sofa is lovely price is great and the delivery (and team) was great”

“Ordering process was simple and easy however the delivery was poorly managed with only 12 hours notice of the delivery date and then delivery that did not arrive on the date requested. The delivery people couldn’t unload the unit without help from me and my friend.”

“Unfortunately, it turned up damaged. We had no time to get it returned so we will keep it. Despite all the packaging, it had this damage. Photo is attached. Otherwise, its a nice unit.”
