About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“Ordering process was simple and easy however the delivery was poorly managed with only 12 hours notice of the delivery date and then delivery that did not arrive on the date requested. The delivery people couldn’t unload the unit without help from me and my friend.”

“Unfortunately, it turned up damaged. We had no time to get it returned so we will keep it. Despite all the packaging, it had this damage. Photo is attached. Otherwise, its a nice unit.”

“I was a bit nervous about buying such an expensive item online but this is an excellent sofa. Seems very sturdy and well made. The material is thick and the dimensions large in all directions with comfortable firm cushions which is exactly what I wanted. More than pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend.”

“We have been so happy with the service from Don from plymouth store and when we had to wait nearly year for complet bed he did everything he could but the store manager is soo rude and not helpful she blames everything on the employee and won't take any responsibility at all or help out even though we have brought everything from the store and for failed customers u get treat bad from store manager but staff are great. And when the store manager say she going to be in she not half the time she off and she won't speak to people face to face only behind desk on the computer”

“Had a really bad experience with furniture world. Seemed ok in the beginning very happy to take my order then the rot set in. Had at least 3 different delivery dates. We ordered in May 2021 and our new expected delivery date is end of January 2022!!!! Over 8months later. When i spoke to Jo today she was almost joyful to let me cancel which leads me to think the sofa was never coming! Would never recommend”
