About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“We’ve expected a rustic wooden dining table and we got a painted one. In addition it came with a little defect.”

“After looking all around for matching bedside tables for our bedroom suit we found them on Furniture World. Very easy to order and the communication was top notch. Delivery was within their predicted time frame and delivery was well communicated. Excellent service.”

“I am delighted with trio-side tables and appreciated the care with the meticulous packaging and the helpful courier who lifted it into the porch. The tables are beautifully made and well designed as well as useful. YES, 100%”

“Told in-store that you could order an item for us to view before we bought. Waited two weeks and heard nothing. Called back and was told it would arrive soon. Finally it arrived but it was the wrong item. Was then told that we couldn't order an item to store and we'd be better off ordering online. So once ordered online, I needed to change the delivery phone number. Emailed the request through and received a reply it was done but still the courier used the old number and i almost missed deliver. Finally, when i unboxed the item the back corner is damaged but honestly i can not be bothered to try and sort a replacement considering the service I received so far. Would not recommend Furniture World to anyone!”

Hi, We have spoken to the courier and from the images provided the access was very tight and if the drivers feel they may damage an item or property then they can refuse to take the product into the property. Kind Regards

“Awful delivery service. Delivery team refused to take up to bedroom, had a hard enough time convincing them to even bring it in the house after they had dragged it across the lawn. They said it wouldn’t fit upstairs (it did after me and my girlfriend took it up) - would 100% not use again and will not recommend.”

“Ordered back in May and was aware of the wait for my tables,once they were in stock I was emailed immediately and they were delivered so quickly they they came before I received delivery email,very pleased with my order.”

“A great company. Great communication and kept us in touch all the way through. Any queries I had were answered promptly. The only thing that would improve this is to offer the key worker discount to Teachers too. Thanks Ps loving my new orla kiely sofa no kids, pets, husbands allowed - it’s all mine!”

“The service itself was good, good communication, the delivery was trouble free, the men were helpful and courteous. My only complaint is the cost of delivery. Having spent £2,500, I would have expected free delivery, but it was £30 delivery, £30 to remove the packaging and take the mattress upstairs, and another £25 to remove the old mattress, £85 in all!”
