About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“Furniture world no problem at all delivery company absolutely useless. Tried to deliver half My settee and said will deliver the rest in a few days as the van is fully booked out now 🤷‍♂️ but furniture world sorted it and was delivered next day”

“Item ordered following the clarification of the detail of the piece of furniture with customer service. Item arrived within the timescale and delivered with care. Unfortunately, some of the fixings were missing, but this was dealt with promptly and I am pleased with the purchase and service. Thank you!”

“I had never heard of this company so I took a chance I did have a query when ordering and the phone was picked up straight away and my query answered I ordered on the Wednesday and two days later it arrived extremely well packed and I could track its route for delivery so conclusion I have no issues with company and I can recommend them”

“Just purchased a new mattress At Threemilestone store,Ian the salesman was amazing,very informative and knowledgeable and there is a huge range of mattresses in store.He guided us in the right direction and advised us on what sort of mattress we needed.Highly recommend furniture world for quality and staff.”

“Delivery date was changed without our knowledge but was corrected when we questioned it. Actual receipt of the goods was terrible. Sofas were dropped (we saw this happen) and then we were lied to about how the packaging became so filthy. Not a pleasant experience. No respect for our home.”

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the delivery service you have received . Having found your order and the couriers notes for your delivery , the change of delivery date was sent by mistake. Once you had contacted the courier , it was corrected and changed to the original delivery date as requested . I have also checked the images the drivers uploaded to their portal once your delivery had taken place , I can see from the images provided that the drivers carried your order up a drive away as they were unable to park the delivery vehicle next to your property due to building work being carried out . The courier will always try their best to make sure that all packaging is kept clean upon delivery, we do however recommend that customers to lay protective coverings on all floors to prevent mud and dirty being transferred from the outside when delivering .

“Easy to rearrange delivery as first only gave 24 hrs notice and I couldn't manage this. Delivery by 2 people. They were careful with the 2 packages and put them in the kitchen for me. Both packages undamaged.”

“From start to finish I was impressed. Coffee table ordered on Sunday evening , it was delivered Tuesday lunchtime. It was amazingly well wrapped; like an egyptian mummy inside a really strong box. And the table is exactly as described and is lovely.”

“I ordered a Nebraska tv unit to go with other Nebraska furniture I had previously purchased from FW, but it doesnt match. It's supposed to be white but it's definitely cream. Also, delivery was estimated to be 12weeks but turned out to be almost twice that...at 20 weeks.”
