“There are three aspects to this; the sofa, the service and the ordering/purchase/delivery process. In fact, I would rate all three exactly the same. The process was pretty typical for an online purchase, but the details showed it was properly thought through. For instance, the email I got to confirm a delivery date was early enough to give some flexibility, and the delivery window was narrow enough to allow me to plan my day around it. Basically, it was designed to suit me as much as the company. The service was also excellent. The test swatches came quickly, the guys who delivered were courteous and quick to help (as well as working very quickly and tidily), and any correspondence was intelligent. Nothing to fault. Finally, the sofa itself. Here I have to admit it has taken a little while to get used to sitting slightly higher than our previous sofa (not a sofa bed) since it's overall quite firm. However, just like moving from a softer bed to a firmer bed, it doesn't take long before you find it's actually more supportive and therefore generally more comfortable. This is not a criticism at all, but just an observation of what it's like to live with that particular design of sofa. As far as the bed part is concerned, it's also quite a firm feel, which suits me very well. However, it most certainly lives up to the marketing blurb in that it really does allow for a comfortable night's sleep. Because of visitors on an extended stay, I'm currently using it every night, and have done for a week so far, so this is experience talking. It's obviously too early to mention longevity and so on, but everything I've had to do with this sofa bed and this company has worked precisely as intended.”

“Fabulous sofa bed. Quality product. Very comfortable and easy to change from sofa to bed. Great range of colours ~ my choice was amethyst velvet material. We also have an Ottoman bed from the same company. Bed comfortable and spacious storage takes all our camping gear! I highly recommend The Storage Bed Company.”

“We are delighted with our sofabed. We were looking for a sofa which, whilst maximising our living and working space, would allow us to put up friends and family without sacrificing comfort. “I'm very pleased. These beds are a well-made, elegant solution to the need for storage space. Because they will work with any fabric for headboard and valance my bedroom came together beautifully. When I had difficulty completing my purchase online, they picked that up and rang to ask how they could help. Delivery and installation was quick and efficient. Thank you!”

“Excellent bed. Exactly what we wanted. Just one thing bothered me; I would like more communication for ordering bespoke bed rather then encouraging "the storage bed" online design template. At the end we had to talk over the phone and it would be much faster if the owner accepted a phone/email communication from the beginning.”

“We couldn't be happier with our new storage bed! I am very passionate about beds and so when it came to choosing our new one it had to be special! Living in London we lack a lot of storage space so a storage bed seemed like a great idea. From our first visit to the London showroom we knew we had made the right choice. John was incredibly helpful and friendly and his passion for his beds made us even more confident. When our bed arrived, the gentlemen that installed it were just as friendly and efficient! “My storage bed is the best purchase I have made this year. I have a small box room and the only beds available that would fit were children's beds. I trawled the internet, visited Dreams/John Lewis etc with my tape measure and I was about to give up when I found this supplier on line. The bed could be tailored to my exact requirements so now I have a bed that is the exact length to fit into the space under my box room window. It is the exact height so I have loads of space underneath and I have a base colour and material that matches my blinds. It's perfect. The shop is based on the north circular near Wembley. The map isn't too user friendly but if you just remember that it's on the main dual carriageway and the turning is where there are a line of wind turbines you shouldn't go wrong. What else? The person in the shop was brilliant and would suggest tweaks e.g. I wanted a bed on rollers so that I hoover underneath (you can even pick the roller style etc) so he suggested having a bed without rollers so it sat flush with the ground and therefore did not require hoovering. There are options for colour, size, height, ones with locks, safes etc. The only thing that I didn't like is that once in the shop you are handed a computer to order your bed on....it was OK for us but I think my parents would have struggled. I would preferred for this part to have been done by the shop person. Installation was quick and professional. The team took 1 hour to set the bed up and wore shoes guards so my new carpet wasn't impacted. You don't get this level of service or quality of goods so I was pleasantly surprised.”

“I was looking for a storage bed with lots of storage space, a powerful lifting mechanism to cope with a heavy mattress, and a quality, sturdy build. All of my needs were met when I bought the Simplicity Max. The sales team were very knowledgeable about beds in general and had good advice to offer. My bed was delivered on time and assembled by a very polite and friendly chap. I would happily recommend this company to anybody, and would buy from them again if ever I need another storage bed. 10/10 Mike Harrow”

“I had researched storage beds for a while, and realised that the cheap ones were not likely to last very long. Fortunately for us, The Storage Bed Company is quite close to where we live, so we were able to visit and check out the beds. This just confirmed what I'd thought, that they were very strong and well made. We chose to assemble ours, which was OK because my husband is very good at such things, but I think probably for most people it would be best to have the company do it for you. The bed is very well designed and comfortable (I went for a wooden one), and I am very happy with it.”
