“I bought a Duette sofabed from FURL late last year and can honestly say that it is brilliant! It's my every night bed in my mother's 1 bedroom flat, where I now stay. It's incredibly comfortable to sleep on and the mechanism is easy and so quick to open and close up each day. The design is unlike any I've seen. No taking off and putting back of numerous cushions as with other sofabeds. The previous one was so hard to pull out, it began to be a serious strain on my back so I went on a long and exhaustive search for an everyday replacement. I'm so glad I managed to find this one. I chose a memory foam mattress (middle of the range I think) which is extremely comfortable and I know that if and when it needs replacing I can get a new one that will fit, something I was unable to do with the last one bought at John Lewis many years ago. The sofa cushions which are all sewn together appear to never sag, but are very comfortable to sit on and very good for the back. The linen material is very hard wearing and looks great. I ended up paying a lot more than I'd planned but can honestly say that it was worth it as it's used every night as a bed and every day as a sofa. I feel like it will last for many years, and excellent after sales service will be at the end of the phone should I have any problems.”

“When downsizing and moving from a house to a new flat we discovered that our wardrobes and two closets were quickly filled up with items that we needed on a daily basis. We were therefore forced to look for some additional space to store occasionally used bulky things (luggage, coats, winter bedding) and decided on a storage bed solution. After an extensive internet search we discovered FURL and their Max bed and this met our requirements perfectly. The bed extends beyond the king size mattress by only few centimetres while providing really cavernous storage space - it miraculously fitted within our rather small bedroom. Owner's enthusiasm for his own designs, robust construction and obvious attention to detail also reassured us of its longevity. Finally, with FURL's easy-fit fabric customisation, we used a high quality fabric to match the rest of our luxury furniture. “The amount of customization is amazing. Simple website, good showroom, helpful support. I cannot honestly praise Furl enough for making my purchase as easy as you can possibly think! “We have had our Simplicity Max Super Kingsize storage bed for several months now. We made a visit to the showroom before purchasing to see the quality of the construction in person before buying and we weren't disappointed. We spent a considerable time trying out the different mattress options and chose the Latex 750 which gives a wonderful nights sleep - like resting on very supportive clouds. We had to rearrange delivery a couple of times due to decorators not finishing on time but the team were very accommodating. Delivery was prompt on the chosen date and fitting was carried out efficiently and cleanly. We chose the deeply headboard to be wall mounted. Please note that the fitters will not fix your headboard to the wall and this really was the only tricky part of the assembly. We needed to fix to a lathe and plaster wall and the fixings provided were not sufficient to take the weight. In retrospect we should have had the headboard fitted to the bed itself although this meant it wouldn't have been flush against the wall. Also with regard to the headboard, I had chosen the largest size 91 cm but it actually measured a few cm less. I queried this but was told that the size was an average and differed to ensure symmetry of the diamonds between the buttons. In the end it didn't really make too much difference. The storage is fantastic , although it is in danger of becoming a dumping ground for everything since we emptied our loft. However I do find it a bit heavy to lift with the super Kingsize latex mattress in place. I wonder how I will manage as I get older as it takes all my strength with two hands to lift if my husband isn't on hand. Overall though it is a beautiful, comfortable and very useful bed which I would recommend to anyone. David made the whole experience feel personalised and he was extremely helpful at every stage. Excellent.”

“I have purchased two storage beds one single and one superking and am really impressed with the quality of them, there is a huge amount of storage to use which is really what I wanted it for. I was kept informed as to the progress and delivery times of my beds. They were quickly and professionally installed and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone requiring such a bed. I am really happy with my purchase.”

“It has been well worth the expense - an ideal item for a studio flat. Unfortunately the one part which was most unpleasant was the rude unhelpful delivery man. He didn't receive the £10 note that was put aside for his tip.”

“The order process from Furl was very easy and very informative. They sent me numerous fabric samples that I requested, which was helpful in matching with the overall scheme. The lead-time is long, but the product is very good quality, stable and there really is a lot of storage. I had to rearrange the delivery once as the time given wasn't convenient. The quality is really good overall. The guys who came to install the bed did so very quickly and efficient and were really lovely and explained how it worked and care instructions. They were very professional. My only complaint is that I ordered my bed with fixed covers and it has been delivered with removable ones, which isn't ideal and not what I ordered, so make sure that you check your delivery when it comes.”

“Just wanted to leave a review for the Furl team, from visiting the show room to ordering the bed everything was easy. The quality of these beds and the customer service is a credit to all at Furl. The options available for the max bed we purchased enabled us to get a good quality bespoke bed and mattress for less than we would have paid at a high street department store. the bed was a finishing touch to our recent bedroom extension. The fitters from Furl were exceptional compared to the other tradesmen who have visited, from the moment they stepped into the house they slipped on protective shoe covers and took great care when moving the components into the room. Once built they showed us the bed working and tided up every bit of packaging leaving no mess behind. If only all tradesmen were this efficient. To sum it up; from help choosing at the showroom to delivery everything about Furl was top class.”

“Previously had an ottoman bed that needed replacing and when looking for a storage bed came across Furl. Visited all the usual retailers but none came close to quality and the storage capacity of the Max frame. Visited the London showroom and was very impressed with the range and the laid back feel. The process to order was quick and easy and it's refreshing to know there are still British companies selling quality British made furniture. The delivery team couldn't be more friendly and efficient and spoke highly of the company. The bed has met everything we required and have had many great nights sleep on it since!”

“This is one of those rare occasions where a supplier/manufacturer did everything one of could have wished. Well worthwhile making a trip up to the showroom in Neasden to view the sofas etc on offer. Our Milano sofa was delivered on time assembled without fuss by two professionals and we are extremely glad that we chose Furl.”
