The only reason I used ftm because they accept PayPal. Wood I bit is more expensive than other places and extra cost for delivery. Had to wait 2 weeks for goods. was given a delivery day and turned up a day earlier without notice.

Ordered 50x 5.4m lengths of 19x38 batten and was sent 75x 3.9m lengths without any prior communication to see if it was acceptable. Ordered 3x 75mm posts and coachbolt feet and received posts 80x80 that wasn’t even remotely close to fitting in the feet. Ordered on the 19th and received on the 28th. Paid £24 for delivery when I could’ve gone to any timber yard or DIY store and picked it up myself if I knew my order was being sent as 3.9m lengths instead.

Timber arrived. Length multiples were fine for the cuts I required. All pieces were supplied over length, no skimping on the odd few centimetres. Excellent prices and reasonable delivery charge for the relatively small quantity I required. Driver was friendly and helpful. I will be using FULHAM TIMBER again for future projects.

Ordered materials for a deck including boards, joists, gravel and blocks. The deckboards arrived with scuffs and marks as the gravel had been stored on top, and many of them were already splitting as they had a seam all through the middle. Poor quality joists - half the boards were untreated white wood! Requested replacements, took another week and they didn't send enough replacements. We couldn't wait another week so cancelled the job (baby due imminently). 3 weeks later still waiting for the blocks and gravel to be collected as they've sent the wrong size lorry twice. Just want rid of it and get the refund.

Hi Sylvia, Apologies to hear about your experience. This timber should have never left the yard, we would normally reject this timber as soon as it is delivered to us so we will look into why it made it onto the shelves let alone delivered. I would like to apologise further for the delayed replacement, we do strive to deliver replacements as soon as we can, however, sometimes there can be delays if we are waiting for replacement products to be delivered from suppliers which can cause a slight delay. Quality of products and service is something we take seriously, it's thanks to this we've been supplying DIY'ers, tradespeople, large contractors and government for over 30 years - we hope you'd give us a try again in the future in order to allow us to demonstrate this to you. Placed two orders with Fulham timber as appeared very competitively priced and well reviewed. Asked for them to be combined into one order and they agreed to this and refunded 1 deliver cost. Unfortunately the orders were not combined, and some of the timbers were damaged requiring replacement. So in total 3 deliveries and the replacements were for a lower grade timber than requested. Reasonable timbers otherwise but I will look to other suppliers in future to have less hassle!

Hi Thomas, Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, we cannot always combine additional orders which you add to your order at a later date for various reasons, such as there not being sufficient weight allowance available on the vehicle your original order is planned on for the extra goods. Road safety and compliance are our first priority. We did as mentioned refund your additional delivery charge, so you were only charged for one delivery. I did send an email but I am still waiting for a formal response on this one, although it did finally get sorted by Brixton branch. I was still a bit disappointed that I had to edit my order to suit what you had in stock, which in turn cost me an extra £110, just so I could get the job completed. I will have a lot of wasted off cuts. Even though i now have what I need it would be nice to get a response to my online message, or my email.

Excellent product, delivery as indicated when couple of small bits were forgotten they were promptly delivered in the next couple of days. Polite drivers. Would use again.

There was only one person to complete the delivery and the driver needed help to unload the timber, I was the only person who was at home and suffer with CTS arthritis so not happy that I had to help. If this was explained prior I could have had someone available. The driver was lovely and tried his best to help and work with me so this wasn't his fault. But the company should be clear on these policies. Apart from this the rest of the process was easy and simple
