“Fulham Timber went above and beyond to replace the timber that wasn't as good as it could be. They sourced from different branches and drove down to the south coast again to let me choose from what they had. I will definitely buy from them again”

“The first order, purchase order 14052 was ok, the correct item was delivered so when I realised I needed more wood the same for my project I placed a repeat order with Fulham Timber, purchase order 14082, however the service this time was absolutely awful because the wrong item was delivered - two long thinnish 1" planks of wood were delivered which were nothing like the 5m long thick plank which I ordered. I was disappointed and should have not accepted the delivery of PO 14082 (but I did) and I should have rang up to complain (but I did not as I could not face the hassle and stress of waiting again for the correct item to be ordered). Effectively I completely wasted my money on the second purchase order 14082 as the wood delivered was not what I ordered and therefore was totally unsuitable for my project. I then went to www.mpmoran.co.uk and managed to buy some more wood equivalent to the 5m worth required. To whoever is loading the lorries at Fulham Timber, please kindly do not dispatch an order if you do not have the right material in stock. It is far better to delay an order until you have the right material in than to dispatch the wrong stuff and disappoint the customer.”

“Received all timbers as expected. Arrived on arranged delivery day. Would have been 5* had I been given a time slot or a call when the timber was on the way. The man delivering was very helpful and delivered to my back gate for me.”

“Nice colour, slight bends in the wood making panelling difficult and some grains chipped. Delivery was quick but the delivery man knocked a mark in my newly painted front door which I wasn’t to happy about. Better quality than other timber places, would use again.”

“Products ordered are good, however…I placed an order and received an email confirming my delivery date. 2 days prior to that date I realised I needed to add more items to my order. I called and asked if I could add more to my existing order and was told that it was not possible as my order was already packed for delivery and that I would need to make a new order. I made the new order online and was charged an additional £48 delivery charge. My initial order was not made on the date I was notified. Four days later, both orders arrived on the same delivery after I paid for 2 £48. delivery charges. Poor customer service.”

“Terrible delivery service. My second time having a delivery from Fulham Timber and they give you no warning of when the delivery will turn up so it's impossible to plan. On both occasions, the delivery has been on a different day to the one I was told to expect it - and I was called only 5 minutes before it arrived, from the delivery drivery.”
