The job was done but its just so expensive. Our car at least was undamaged but a very expensive experience at £371.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of putting diesel into my Audi TT's petrol tank. Thankfully, I contacted Fuel Fixer, and they provided exceptional service. The technician arrived promptly, was very courteous, and handled the fuel drain with great professionalism. They clearly explained the process and reassured me throughout. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail and the confidence they inspired by offering a 3-month guarantee on their work. It's rare to find such a reliable and efficient service these days, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in a similar situation. Thank you, Fuel Fixer, for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience! Bukky Olawoyin

I f****d up...put petrol instead of diesel..service attendant recommended fuel fixer..the service itself was great..only waited arround 40 minutes and a technician came and did everything vrey fast and professional. The only complaint would be the £360 payment that i had to do... it was a very expensive fuel tank. LESSON LEARNED...

The mechanic was very late ,but when he did arrive he was excellent. He did not appear to know the problem was more serious than he was told by the office. He fixed the car in the dark ,collected the payment and was a good advert for the company. The cost was prohibitive for the repair, working out for the hours spent ( less than 2 hours) at over £445 per hour before VAT. I realise you have overheads but at least Dick Turpin ( famous historical highwayman )was eventually caught and hanged but you are still here. I do hope I never have to use you again.

Service was excellent as my anxiety was through the roof after hearing the implications of this from the initial call to fuel fixers. . Although the cost was astronomical for an hours work. I accidentally put adblue in my van. Total cost £2200 which i had to put on credit card. I will be asking local garage to see how much would they have charged.

Very expensive company for such a simple job. Local engineer in Exeter was very efficient, friendly and professional

Very expensive we found out other companies charged half your price but we where pressured into paying because my wife is a carer and had to get back to to work in her car a bit of a rip off really The fitter charged my wife extra money for an additive to protect the car from further damage not happy but got cheaper quotes later and we will use them if there’s a next time with us or anyone we know

Unfortunately 30 mins late from original contact, and unbelievable expensive, cannot understand how they can charge that amount, big scam going on there, Polite guy on phone , and helpful technician who repaired, get ready for a mortgage for that though

Good service but way to expensive. Call centre bloke very jokey, i thought it was a scam at first, wanted a deposit straight awsy over the phone. Very vague on costs. Yess 699 sir no mention of vat of additional fuel cost. The Subby john was a good bloke did a good job.

The Company was easy to find on Google which saved some time👍,but they were dishonest about where the technician was located, this cost me a 2 and a half hour wait👎. The service itself was very good. The technician was friendly, informative and solved the issue in under half an hour, with no subsequent issues 👍👍

Disappointed with engineer/mechanic's knowledge & had to assist him & advise process.

Much appreciated, however not too sure that the tank was flush because this same situation happened to my wife a few years ago and the person who came flushed the whole tank. He hooked up his equipment and emptied it. I haven't seen this person on this occasion flushed the tank. And the red filter light came on and is still on. It suggest to me that it was not done properly.

Fella was helpful but didn’t put the parts he took off under the bonnet back on properly, - jubilee clip on the air intake, one of the fuel line hoses, and now missing the shrader valve dust cap.

The person I spoke to on the phone (Michael H) said that in addition to draining the tank, the fuel jets and pipes would have to be cleared and £20 of diesel would be supplied, hence the cost of £440. He also said that I would receive a paper showing warranty and a contact number. The operator who arrived only drained the tank and said it was not necessary to clear the fuel jets and that the person I spoke to was probably new. I think he said that he was putting £10 of diesel in the tank, but as he was speaking i9n broken English I had difficulty in hearing him properly (No fault of his). However, after he put the diesel in, the car computer screen showed there was only 65 miles to an emptty tank. As my car averages over 60mpg it would seem unlikely that £20 was put in. I did not receive a paper showing any warranty details or contact, I only received a receipt and a statement absolving you from any liability for damage that may be caused by your operatives in attempting to rectify the problem, even if the attempt was unsuccessful. Hopefully the fact that the jets etc were not cleared will not cause any future problems. I rated the service good mainly because of the prompt response but feel that what I was told on the phone was not what actually happened
