“After inadvertently adding unleaded to my diesel car, the call was made to Fuel Fixer. Very helpful and understanding person on phone who done everything well and told me I would wait for between 60 & 90 minutes to be attended to. Just shirt of the hour Christian turned up. Carried out the drain and flush and got me on my way again. Excellent service all round. Thank you. Hopefully I won't need to call again. Mr H Allman.”

“As the fuel tank was only pumped out and the procedure did not involve cleaning the fuel lines the cost seemed very expensive when I looked on the internet comparing with others carrying out the same service then another add on costing an extra £30 was a fuel additive which I would have expected to be in the cost the total cost was £410 pounds the extra cost of the additive was not explained when I initially called not recommend to others shop around a lot of companies carry out this type of work AA quotes £300 to non members for me as a customer the quote was based on the worst case flushing fuel lines etc and the price charged should reflect the actual work carried out said on website 10 percent discuss which I did not receive all in all I felt mislead and over charged”

“I recently, inadvertently put a small amount of Ad blue in my diesel engine in error and unfortunately started the car before realsing my mistake. Following a set of extremely stressful events with a garage who deals with the make of the car and the potential need to replace the engine/fuel tank etc I contacted Fuel Fixer who sent out their engineer (Gabor) to look at my vehicle. Despite working in freezing weather and lack of daylight, he was extremly professional and helpful explaining what needed to be done. Following flushing the engine/tank components out several time he got my car started again. I would throughly recommend this company. Do not be fooled into having to pay for a new engine by the car manufacturers! Seek a second opinion first. If dealt with in a reasonable time scale you can reduce the financial burden to repair.”

“The mechanic was very late ,but when he did arrive he was excellent. He did not appear to know the problem was more serious than he was told by the office. He fixed the car in the dark ,collected the payment and was a good advert for the company. The cost was prohibitive for the repair, working out for the hours spent ( less than 2 hours) at over £445 per hour before VAT. I realise you have overheads but at least Dick Turpin ( famous historical highwayman )was eventually caught and hanged but you are still here. I do hope I never have to use you again.”

“Service was excellent as my anxiety was through the roof after hearing the implications of this from the initial call to fuel fixers. . Although the cost was astronomical for an hours work. I accidentally put adblue in my van. Total cost £2200 which i had to put on credit card. I will be asking local garage to see how much would they have charged.”

“Arrived within the hour. We were on our way half an hour later. Phone operator was great and was able to pinpoint our location chap who did the job contacted us 10 mins before arrival which was helpful he did an excellent job and was very nice. Rather expensive but efficiently dealt with. You get what you pay for.”

“Excellent customer service advisor dealt with my issue over the phone and arrange for someone to come and drain fuel from our car. The guy who was given a job contacted us within 10 minutes of the appointment made to check our details and then called us back when he was 10 minutes away to arrange to meet him where we had left our vehicle. He talked us through everything he was doing. It took a bit longer than he expected but he got the job done and our car was back on the road. Highly recommend these guys.”

“Very expensive we found out other companies charged half your price but we where pressured into paying because my wife is a carer and had to get back to to work in her car a bit of a rip off really The fitter charged my wife extra money for an additive to protect the car from further damage not happy but got cheaper quotes later and we will use them if there’s a next time with us or anyone we know”
