“I filled my diesel car with petrol, oops my bad, Fuel fixer were with me in a few hrs which was great. Service expect and charged, remove fuel, flush system in fuel filter, get 20 lts of fuel. Drain down no issue, next step empty in a 10lt can of fuel. No clean through, no refund. Thanks Merry Christmas.... Not satisfied”

“A stupid mistake but rectified by Fuel fixer within a few hours on Boxing Day as well. Operator was very friendly and explained the process fully and despite all the problems still got to the pub on time so day was not a complete write off...”

“Service was good when the mechanic arrived but this was after being called by the mechanic with a delayed eta, then when this time was missed, I was asked to wait until midnight or reschedule to the following day. I rescheduled to the following day and the appointment time was missed yet again. Fortunately I insisted that the AA recover me to my home, otherwise I would have been stranded for 16 hours. Whilst the mechanic was helpful and efficient, the rating reflects the service quality from the company, which was not great for the high price you pay.”

“Excellent service and advice given. Highly recommended. Was massively let down by the AA leaving me stranded with my young family on the A1 for 4 hours with no communication at all from the AA. Phoned 5 times where they did not offer any help and lied to me stating someone was on their way and only offered help finally after 7 hours waiting but the help was for 3 days later! I phoned fuel fixer who came out within the hour and go me up and running. Could not fault them.”

“They were brilliant. Initial handling of my call was excellent and then they were with me just over an hour after my call. And it was Christmas Day! The issue was sorted out and I have had no problems with my car since then. Fuel Fixer saved Christmas for me!”
