The product arrived, beautifully and sustainably packaged, but unfortunately, to a flat next door, rather than to my house. Someone 'clicked' the wrong address but I managed to track it down eventually. The man I spoke to at French Click accepted that they were at fault and offered to replace if necessary, which I'm glad wasn't needed. I was happy with the handling of the situation.

The food and service is excellent. The only reason for giving three stars is due to the packaging. Polystyrene is so damaging. Please consider some other filler for the boxes.

Thanks for the feedback. We are moving to use Paper loose fill on all orders without fresh or glass fragile items. Please do also note that the flo pak green loose fill is degradable in the natural environment and can be recycled at supermarket points, you can find more info on it here: https://uk.pregis.com/eu-solutions/by-product/ready-to-use-packaging-solutions/void-fill/the-environmental-one/

As always, the ordering process, packaging, and delivery were perfect. What wasn't in this instance (I have ordered from French Click several times before), is the error in my order. I was sent one wrong item in my order (the wrong terrine). After having to send a photograph of my delivery note and the wrong item, I expected to have the correct item sent to me. It wasn't, I was simply given a refund. And, I didn't like the "wrong" item. I did email French Click about my disapointment but received no reply.

Very happy with the product, but really wish that it were possible to use packaging other than copious quantities of polystyrene chips.

Please also note that the flo pak green is degradable in the natural environment and can be recycled at supermarket recycling points.

First order on French Click. Was informed that the order would be delivered before 12:30 so had arranged to be at home specifically to receive the order. By 12:30 nothing arrived so I phoned customer service and was informed that I was last on the list for deliveries and that my order would arrive in the afternoon. It arrived after 5:00 as the driver hit problems because of road works. The whole experience was frustrating. You should call customers if deliveries are delayed.

Very sorry about this delivery delay. Yes you should have been informed the delivery was behind schedule. We are working hard to make sure deliveries to all London postcodes are on time.

While the delivery was fine, I was not so happy that the merguez I ordered were just at their date limite de consommation. They were good but it would have been better if they had had a longer shelf life. Which is why I only gave three stars.

The website is a nighmare to navigate. The photos are the products are really bad and it's impossible to zoom in. Also it does not show the compositions of the products. But I found lots of products I was looking for and the delivery was smooth.

Très déçu de votre service.. j’avais commandé un foie gras de 500 à 600grs et vous m’envoyer un lob de 350grs sans prévenir votre client.a quoi sert de demander notre e-mail? Maintenant j’ai besoin d’un autre lob mais je refuse de payer une deuxième fois pour les frais d’envois.

My first order arrived quickly and well-packed but two of the five bottles Vichy water which my order included and for which I had paid were missing. A hand-written packing slip said the shortage was due to a stock error and that the cost of the two bottles had been deducted from my payment. This turned out to be true; however, the delivery charge divided by the ordered items made each more expensive

Great to be able to get the products but came wrapped excessively with a box full of polystyrene peanuts, bubble wrap and lots of tape. Bottles dented anyway, not that it matters. Would put me off ordering again.

Poor packaging resulted in two of the three tins having huge dents....not what I needed in the presents I'd intended to give. Otherwise a good website etc.

Thank you so much for your feedback on French Click. The flo pak green loose fill and bubble bags are recyclable at super market points and it does degrade in the natural environment. Additionally we do have paper loose fill available, if you want it please specify in the notes box when ordering, it's not being used on all orders yet.

I love the choice of food and the fact that i can have french food delivered to the UK. I am concerned at how long DHL had my order before delivery especially as some of it was cheese. With reference to the cheese it arrived completely squashed and did not resemble the rocamador cheese i have had before. Also the biscuits arrived broken.

The product was as advertised and it arrived in the timeframe given. Thank you for that. My only criticism is the packing. More training needs to be given to those who pack your products for shipping, as the product packaging arrived crushed. All of the packing material was at the bottom of the box, instead of being distributed evenly around the product to protect it. This meant that to close the box fully, the packer had to crush the product to seal the box. It's bad enough trying to get packages to arrive through the usual delivery companies in the condition they were intended for, but to pack the products incorrectly as well?

I bought 8 puddings but they only had 5 days of life so I had to have 2 puddings a day to use them in time. Apart from that, not bad.

Love Frenchclick as I can get beloved French products that I can not find anywhere else…..however, feeling a bit let down with product (namely merguez) showing available online but unavailable upon delivery (my last 4 or 5 orders!). Very quick on refund but hardly the point sadly. Other than that excellent service/delivery, well packaged (although could do better with something more easy to dispose of/better for the environment) and customer services. Any chance frenchclick can sell alcohol such as Ricard in the future?

It is great that we are able to buy French products through you and I have done for many years. The one main thing I have an issue with is the packaging it is not environmentally friendly and does not keep products intact. Often I have yoghurt pots that have leaked I don’t complain as I am pleased to have access to French products whilst living in the UK. There are also products that are missing from the orders which I understand but I am not sure if these are refunded?

Very sorry about this. Usually the packaging should be able to protect the items and we do also use fragile tape. Sometimes the delivery companies can be very rough with the packages which can occasionally cause damage. You should certainly only be charged for what you receive. The final version of your order is always available in the your account section of the website in your order history. If there is any issue with that, please email customerservice@frenchclick.com with your order number as the subject and it'll be sorted.

We are disappointed that we are never able to order the following apericubes, Saeur des supporters, Carremont Toque and apericube tonic. as they are always unavailable.
