“The site & procedures were very easy to follow, the only grey area that I could see was relating to travel to Ireland, photographic evidence is required for access to the port but does not indicate as whether a passport or just a driving licence will allow boarding the vessel and travelling to Ireland”

Hi, If you are travelling to/from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any UK island, for example the Channel Islands, then a photographic driving licence is all that is required. Sorry to hear you experienced a delay. Unfortunately as we are a ticket agent operational matters of operators at ports are outside of our control and Eurotunnel freight tickets are sold on an open ticket basis. The new Eurotunnel VP service allows you to book to a guaranteed departure time.
