I used to use Freightlink before for ferry bookings but since Brexit not been able to get my head round the new regulations for exports I have tried you partner customs link but still cannot get it sorted

Hi Kelly, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience with us on this occassion. We have now passed your comment on to customer service who have been in touch with you to explain why you have not yet received your booking confirmation. Unfortunately, the sailing you booked was for later in the year, and the booking confirmation for this may only be requested 15 days before the departure. Due to a fault on our end, you were not informed of this in a timely manner. We apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused. Going forward, we will make sure that we communicate this clearly and as soon as possible after bookings are placed in the future. The people I have dealt with at Freightlink have always been very friendly and extremely helpful. To date my experience has been very good. Good customer service seems to be a rare thing in recent times. Freightlink appear to be leading the way.

Had to wait at port for 6 hours due to Freightlink not booking my crossing.

Hi Steven, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with us. Unfortunately, the operator for this crossing closed their booking office at 17.30 on Friday and your booking request was made online more than an hour later for the morning sailing. This unfortunately meant that the likelihood of the operator confirming your booking prior to the sailing was slim. Our customer services team made sure you were aware of this immediately afterwards, and asked you whether you wanted to cancel or reschedule your booking. We also asked you this again the following morning. Once you requested an alternative booking, we helped you book on the next available sailing that afternoon. I had a good experience with freightlink but I am not moving freight, only household items as part of a relocation. I have no commercial goods in the truck that I hired but I am still treated as a business moving commercial goods. This is a nonsense that has no place in personal belongings transportation. I am not having a go at Freightlink but if I dont say anything then noone knows of my frustration. I now have export declaration and import declaration forms of my household belongings to look forward to along with all delays this will inevitably cause
