“Not using to it's full capacity at the moment, only using time sheets and invoicing and quotes. So far so good. The only thing I don't understand is how the minutes work on the time sheet. When I print my report it's 2hrs different to total and figures !,”

“Excellent! - I have tried many accounting softwares and all had something missing.... FreeAgent offers a great deal of useful features and the support is excellent. Furthermore the tax timeline gives a clear indication of how much tax is due at any point.”

“Having only every used basic spread sheets and no experience of accounting software, I have found Freeagent pretty easy to learn and got to grips with the basic functions quickly. I still have more to learn but the knowledge base is really helpful and their phone support is brilliant. The phone support was what really attracted me to Freeagent over any of the other ones available and I've made use of it. There is nothing I don't like so far so am really glad I chose Freeagent, it suits my needs, is not a headache to understand and I feel well supported.”

“Amazing piece of software that has really helped me keep up to date with my accounts. So easy to use I just have to convince my other half that he can keep track of his hours on a job by job basis and then we will be truly sorted.Wish I had found this years ago”

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. HMRC introduced cash accounting to help simplify Self Assessment returns for taxpayers. FreeAgent automatically calculates your accounts using traditional accounting methods from the transactions you’ve entered. This hopefully further simplifies completing your Self Assessment. However, we do understand that taxpayers do still like preparing their returns on the cash basis so it is something we will likely look to implement in the future. But it’s not in our short or medium-term plans. The FreeAgent team

“FreeAgent is my first experience using any sort of accounting software and it's been very good. It steps you through setting up your business and make the whole process very easy. I was doing manual invoicing, which I didn't really think was too much of a chore, but now it's so quick and easy I wouldn't consider doing it any other way. The software is easy to use and looks great. Support is also great, both from FreeAgent and the community.”

“First time user after using an accountant for my small business over the last few years. Worked a treat, accounts sorted within a matter of days. Easy to marry up payments with invoices but do it on the laptop rather than the app as I messed up with it. Corrected easily on the laptop though”
