“My current 2 year fixed price contract with one of the big 6 was coming to an end. I was provided with a new ‘best deal’ by my existing supplier, but due to the adverse publicity and recent ‘price hikes’ thought I should go on line and get comaritive quotes. I obtained my past 12 months consumption figures for both gas and electricity and obtained quotes on those figures. Free Price Compare were on my list of on-line quotes and appeared very competitive. I was telephoned by FPC the next day to ensure that the info I had received was ok ... and I outlined my ‘ideal’ supplier : fixed for 12 months with no exit fees and be economically competitive ... I was provided with the necessary info and let FPC make the switch on my behalf. My new contract commences at the beginning of next month.”
