“Easy to use and once you feed the relevant information about your current energy usage a complete comparison is given. Also like the part where the major suppliers only are compared. Never switched before but this should save about £200 per year.”

“Very good comparism site. Switched from EON to Scotish power saving £335. Then EON came back with a better tariff so within the 14 days switched back again! Thanks to Martin Lewis advice in TV - it can be done!!”

“Relatively easy to review the options and make a decision However, the transition to a new Shell energy account was somewhat less easy They will not change the direct debit unless you ring and their telephone customer services is diabolical I was not advised I had to contact Shell by freepricecompare.”

“It was very easy to change my tariff, the person who phoned was very considerate and listened and answered all my queries with a straight forward answer I could understand, so I was pleased to deal with them and I feel I would again and pass on the company recommendation to others.”

“We switched tariff through FPC (staying with our previous supplier, EDF Energy) It was easy to "apply" to switch, and yes the site was easy to navigate. However once confirmed by FPC, there was no further communication, nor notification from either FPC or EDF! Some notification of assurance that the switch had been activated would have been appreciated, but I had to contact EDF online chat to confirm this after we kept recieving reminders that our tariff was about to end! EDF advisor could find no details re: switch but did rectify the situation and hoping all will now go smoothly. Quite disappointed with this aspect and would hope for better service if we choose this route again”
