“It’s sad that I still have to pay taxes on my own when the company is supposed to care for it. To pay more than double of what I bought is really not worth it. But anyway it’s good to know now”

Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, however, we are sorry to hear that you were not expecting local tax and duty charges. It is as stated on our website and shown at the time of order, that the shipping cost paid excludes customs charges or local tax and duty. Customs charges value depends on item type, value, and local destination tax rules. The Local courier or their appointed broker collects the tax and duty on behalf of the local customs or government. Usually, local couriers request the receiver to pay before delivery. This information is located on multiple pages of our website. It is displayed on 3 locations on our shipping calculator page, so the customer knows when they get a quote before they choose to proceed. It is also displayed on the shipping order page, highlighted in bold. Unfortunately, it is not possible to explain the tax and duties on every page. Some countries do not charge import taxes, and some have a tax-free threshold. We also have 'Help' located on every page should any visitors have questions. We understand that you may not be aware of it due to the pages you were looking at. We hope the above helps clarify the tax and duty charges on international shipments. “Process was quite structured and organized, customer service was also prompt and helpful. Shipping was quite fast, only took about a week to arrive from UK to Asia. The only downside is the cost - shipping options are all quite costly as combined packing were not optimised, re-packing will add cost to each pack, you won’t be able to know or compare cost if repacking will end up saving you the extra shipping cost or costing more after adding the re-packing fee.”

The price paid for shipping not only includes the transit fees, it includes the use of a UK address, the acceptance, processing, storing, and dispatch of your goods including any export documentation required, and full customer support for tracked services until delivery. The shipping cost as shown depends purely on the weight, dimension, and shipping destination regardless of the item value, which is an industry-standard. Our rates are publicly available on our shipping calculator to enable visitors to check and compare prices. This helps shoppers to decide whether it is worth shipping or check if it is within their budget. For consolidations, we also offer unpacking which can help reduce the overall size and weight of the package. Our customer service is also available to help with any queries relating to the shipping costs should you want to check before proceeding. “This product and service number 1 when you try to bring something from UK that is not being shipped outside of UK. If something is really not permitted, they will analyze and take necessary action(for example return and help to get a refund). Thank you very much. I will never look forward for anything other than you, if I need to forward any large or small shipment. And by the way, everything is automted in Forwardvia. I really appriciate their service!”
