I was unhappy with the Vostizza currants because the larger currants in the packs contained pips which is unpleasant when eating baked goods. I purchased these as Vostizza currants are generally good quality, very small and seedless. Forest wholefoods customer service was good as far as replying when they said they would and being polite and respectful. I received a full refund for the currants, after providing a photograph of the seeded currants from a small sample.

Hi there, We are sorry that the organic vostizza currants are not as expected on this occasion. We can confirm that you have received organic vostizza currants in your order and these are Grade A. We are sorry that you have found some pips in these. When we sampled some of the same batch of organic vostizza currants that you received, no pips were found and so we believe this to be an isolated incident. Kind regards,

First time ordering where it has taken 8 days to be delivered, but that could have been the order taking a day or two to be ready, no problem at all. But Other than that, great food and the super foods supplements are amazing. I honestly can’t sing this companies praises enough. Highly highly recommended. Love it and everything from here. Life long customer right here.

Hi. Overall we are so happy with our organic products. The only product we have not enjoyed at all and actually had to discard were the organic gummy bear sweets. I got them as a sweet for my kids and they just couldn’t eat them. They said they tasted like meat. Thanks shonet

Hi there, thank you for your review and we are pleased that you are enjoying our products as we try to stock the best quality products at all times. We have taken great care in selecting the packaging we use for our products and currently use LDPE polyethylene bags which can be recycled widely in the UK through curbside collections or at local supermarkets. We have moved to peel-able labels so these can easily be removed from the bags before recycling. After much thought, we believe choosing the most widely recycled material is the best step any company can take at the moment. Kind regards,

The package arrived intact and the items are good. One of the 1 kg flax packets had burst open though during delivery so I had to recover as much as possible from inside the box. Fortunately not much was lost. So it was OK, but not ideal.

Order arrived safely. The box was damaged which resulted in a bag of chia seeds being damaged and half was scattered in the box

Products are fine when they finally turned up! Couldn't believe it took 3 working days just to put things in the post. Otherwise well protected in packaging ( I personally would prefer it to be more discreet rather than advertising splashed with your lettering etc )

Most of my order had a good BB date but disappointed in the spelt flakes with BB date of 30th July 2023 😩 I could have bought them from my local health store with a 2024 date if I had known.. ( admittedly a little more expensive) no way will I use 1 kg of spelt flakes by July....

We always stock the most recent crops of our products and the best before dates we apply are according to when we think the quality may start to reduce. These are not sell by dates. BBE's can be extended if the products are stored correctly in cold / cool conditions. We have dedicated customer service team who you can call to check BBE's before your purchase. Kind regards FWF

Our organic sundried tomatoes are preserved in salt and so do need soaking in water for 24 hours before using as per the cooking instructions given on our website. From experience, it might be worth changing the water a couple of times during the soaking time to try and remove a little more of the salty taste if necessary. We hope that this helps. Kind regards,

Service very good but both bags of beans had burst open on receipt and had spilled into the packaging. Beans looked ok and didn't want to go through the hassle of return.

Wasn’t happy with some of the short “use by dates “ , it would be useful if they was stated on the products online to know how much to pre order . I’ve ordered 2kg chopped almonds and they need to eat them within 4 months but all the other nuts/ seeds I ordered had a year to eat .

I love Forest Whole Foods for its product quality and ethos. However, it is thoroughly let down by its despatch times. While most companies suggest a 3-5 day normal delivery, that tends to be the MAXIMUM time for receipt. On my FWF orders however, it seems standard for an order to only be despatched after 3 working days. This is out of keeping with the market approach, and because so different, may ultimately lose it even the most dedicated of customers.

The Tumeric, Black peppercorns & Almonds that arrived was very good but unfortunately the hazelnuts tasted disgusting except one or two, they said they would get back to me by email but have not got back to me at all.

The order was fine. But DPD delivered to the wrong door despite clear instructions. I won't order from forest foods if the delivery can't be trusted.

Products good, but unfortunately the very plastic packaging is a problem for me, so I doubt I’ll order again.. shame as there are alternative packaging solutions that are more sustainable and aligned with those of us seeking to make greener informed purchasing choices.

Hi there Sarah, Thank you for your feedback regarding our packaging. This is something that is always on our minds here at Forest Whole Foods. When we first started our company, we tried various options for packaging, including paper products. Unfortunately, they were too weak, and as paper is porous, it didn't keep the produce fresh. Upon further investigation, we also found that paper has a bigger carbon footprint than plastic. We currently use polyethylene bags which can be widely recycled in the UK - this is through kerbside collection or local supermarkets. Our labels can also be easily removed before recycling. We use recyclable paper tape on our boxes and kraft paper packaging for protection inside. We hope this helps to alleviate some of your concerns.
