Really, really, really poor delivery service. Once they have shipped off the premises they dont want to know what the cowboy couriers do after that even though it IS their responsibility. I got food poisong from dodgy dried fruit/mango. They ignored all emails. A danger to life stay away.

The yeast flakes don't taste good! We eat it anyway, but we are not happy with the taste!!

They do have a very distinctive beery/cheesy flavour which we mention on the listing of this product on our website, but we find they are delicious and add a real depth of flavour to the dishes they are added to. Don’t put your order here, I put my order at 10 April, but until now 4 May, already a whole month I still can’t get my parcel.

Hi there, We are sorry to hear that you have not received the resend of your order. The initial parcel was given to DPD and after attempting delivery on numerous occasions DPD returned this to us as it was unfortunately damaged in transit. Once we received this, we contacted you and with your agreement, we resent this order to you. We are really sorry to hear that there have been delays in DPD delivering this resent order, having chased this up with DPD we understand that you changed the delivery address which has delayed your receipt of this parcel. I hate to leave such a bad review for a company that claims to be conscious for our planet, but it’s important consumers understand risk of purchasing from this brand. They sell products that are short dated (I’m talking less than 2 or 3 months left on the best before date on goods that can’t possibly be consumed within a 6 month period for the average household). When I contacted them with images to prove the issue, their response was pretty indifferent claiming that they themselves get sent short dated items from their supplier and that I should just accept it and know that the product should be fine to consume if I store it right. I personally value brands that are transparent and aim to offer an honest and fair service and sadly found this response to fall short. The company should state on their site the sell by & best before dates on each product page and at the very least offer a free of charge returns policy.

Hi there, Thanks for your review and sorry to hear that you are not happy with our BBE's. We have checked into this for you and can see that most of the products you have purchased have between 1 - 1.5 years on the BBE. Organic vegetable bouillon has 6 months from production due to it containing oil which can go rancid. We always stock the most recent crops of our products and the best before dates we apply are according to when we think the quality may start to reduce. These are not sell by dates. BBE's can be extended if the products are stored correctly in cold / cool conditions. We have dedicated customer service team who you can call to check BBE's before your purchase. Kind regards FWF

Very disappointed ! I bought before , it was great quality but this time is totally poor quality . Rang the customer service , was told they have changed supply. They won’t give refund because I have opened it! So I have wasted £60 . Won’t buy again

Hi there Ying, Thank you for your review. As mentioned on the phone, the Organic Dried Black Mulberries you bought are no longer infused with carrot juice like the previous versions. This is because we aim to have no added ingredients to our products as we like them to be natural as well as organic. The ingredients are clearly outlined on each product page and you will note this one only contains 100% Organic Black Mulberries. With regards to the Organic Hulled Millet, as mentioned, we cannot compare this to something you have bought in a supermarket as the origin/supplier etc will be different and cannot refund this item purely because the taste is not the same. In both instances, we cannot offer a refund as there is no fault with the product and the ingredients are outlined in the product descriptions. Kind regards, FWF Team

delivered after 12 days cinamon sticks have no taste stiffness or freshness at all they must be expired money wasted very disappointed

I have used FWF before and the experience has been good, but this time it was not. I called customer service and was promised a call back a few minutes later to clarify something. That call never came. I had 2 orders in and they were supposed to be amalgamated, but that didn't happen. I asked for my delivery to be held a few days as I was going to be away, I had a notification from dpd that it was scheduled for delivery the next day - which I could change with them, but it was annoying to have my break interrupted. And when my delivery did come, the boxes were in a shocking state - bashed around and broken, although the goods inside were intact. The driver said that FWF boxes are often like that. So, all in all, I was not impressed this time. I also wanted to use FWF because they are close to home and shopping local is what I want to do. I found out that the goods are shipped up to Bournemouth to the depot to be distributed and then they travel back down overnight for delivery. I only live 15mins away from the warehouse, this is crazy.

We did call back but the line was engaged and we weren't able to leave a message - I believe this was near the end of the day. Your orders then went out and although they had been merged, they had to be split for transit due to the weight. We are so sorry to hear that your boxes were damaged in transit with DPD. They certainly wouldn't have left us like that. We will have a look into the journey of this consignment and ask them to investigate this. Food is great - the one star is because who ever packed the product ripped the bag of seeds and a third of the content (quite a lot in monetary terms) had leaked all over the box it came in and had to be discarded. I am sure it is a one off …but very irritating.

Terrible product - I only went for it because the usual supplier had run out. When I flagged it up was given an option that would cost as much as the original order.Follow on communication was awful. Really not impressed will never buy from Forest wholefoods again.

bad experience, I ordered the food to have in 2 days and Paid extra for delivery, I was planning to give it away to Customer as Xmas present, I received 5 days later, I had to send it back

The dried mango I purchased was rubbery, unedible and awful. It was given to other people to try, in case it was only me who thought it was bad, but turns out every one who had eaten it told me that they could not chew it and had to swallow after being unable to chew it, none of them wanting another piece. Very disappointed and have written an email to the company but haven't heard anything back.
