Whilst the products supplied are always of a good standard, over the last few months the service has not been as good as we have come to expect.

1) ForestWholeFoods seems to deliberately dispatch my order on the last day, so I get it after 5 or even 6 workdays after date of order. Many other suppliers/stores dispatch on the first day, so it arrives As Soon As Possible! I always use the free 3-5 day delivery service (my orders are always over £50). 2) In the "Organic mixed nuts" I order, I always get some nuts that taste stale. This order was no exception. This time it's the whole hazelnuts that taste off. I am told that those could be cancerogenous. They could cause cancer. 3) You use DPD for delivery, and I've found their drivers to be the most arrogant, callous and indifferent at all. I am a wheelchair-bound old-age pensioner, but they toss my (usually heavy box/parcel) on the ground in my forecourt, right on the mud and all, where insects thrive, and never even look behind to see that I got my order, notwithstanding my written request for the driver to leave the parcel in my kitchen, only two metres from the front door of my (ground-floor) flat. I live alone. So, it is impossible for me to carry the parcel from the forecourt, over the threshold, and into my flat then over to the kitchen, what with the wheelchair and all. However, I must say that the driver, on this occasion - for the first time, was friendly. He did not toss the parcel and run away like before. He actually left it on my kitchen table. Splendid! That's an improvement. I mentioned the background story, here, just in case this driver is the odd one out. * I do appreciate and am thankful for the good service that you guys are offering. But more improvement is needed.

Sometimes delivery can be a little slow! However the products are first class! Last parcel arrived with the end of the box split open, fortunately nothing lost or damaged.

I was a little afraid that my order went wrong., as shipping notice took a few days. But, delivery was completed within time frame -5 days after the order.

I ordered from you as you are so close go me and I wanted to support local business. However, the time it took to get the goods was something I was disappointed with! Once I received the order the box was all water damaged, considering it was dried dates I wasn't best pleased. I go through great amounts of dates and so I normally order 10kgs quite often, so finding the right supplier is very important.

The unblanched organic almonds are of the usual good quality. Very disappointed with the first time purchase of cashews with chilli. Sam.There were too many pieces of Cashew. I ordered and expected whole cashews!!!

i have some questions here: where were they grew? you market your products as organic , how do the farmers keep organic standard?

Delivery arrived as ordered, except the 25kg bulk bags were ripped and product had spilled out in two of the three bulk boxes. Looks like the delivery company poor man handling may be to blame as the boxes were in poor shape on arrival.

I ordered mulberries - in kilo lots. They arrived very quickly. But I was somewhat disappointed that the best before date was only 4 months away. I have bought from other sources with much longer BB dates. With the amount I bought I will be racing against the clock. I must remember in future to ask about BB dates before purchase.

Hi there Anthony, We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the best before dates of your mulberries. We are now at the end of the crop year in the northern hemisphere and new crop on a lot of products has not been shipped yet as it is still being processed. At this time of year it is a good idea to check BBD to make sure they are suitable. Kind regards FWF

Organic sour cherries were nice. Disappointed with Organic Gluten Free Porridge Oats as they look more like Oat Groats than porridge oats however they taste alright.

Forest Wholefoods goods are of consistently good quality and the information about the products is excellent - origin, uses, cooking methods, recipes etc. However, their handling of customers and their enquiries is not so good. My first order took longer than stated to reach me, but I liked the goods so ordered again with no hesitation. My second order took 9 days to arrive. That would have been acceptable had they had the courtesy to warn me that it would be delayed. I had to contact them to find out what was happening. After all, in the real world, parcels have been known to go missing. The response was grudgingly apologetic and somewhat terse. In fact, I felt that I was being told off for having the cheek to ask what was happening to my order, which I had paid for. I was told I hadn't taken into account that 3-5 day delivery meant 3-5 working days. In fact, 9 days had passed by the time I received my order. I think that leaves 7 working days. Forest Wholefoods should remember that the customer, while not always right, should be treated with respect and not like an inconvenience.

The products are excellent. The problem was we were not told about the recent move they had made. The move was not emphasised on their website or order form, so we were driving around for a long time. There was no note or directions on the door of their old premises. It was very annoying when we were so short of time.

I am sorry you found some of our pumpkin seeds to be broken, unfortunately we cannot always guarantee that our pumpkin seeds will be whole as some can become broken during packing and transport. Apologies again for this. Kind regards
