About Forest Gallery :

Forest Gallery is an independent, family-run business established in the UK since 1980. With humble beginnings, the first-generation husband & wife team (Linda & Chris) started trading on market stalls come rain or shine. After opening a series of galleries over a 30-year period, Forest Gallery settled in the quintessential town of Petworth (West Sussex) in 2016 under the guidance of second-generation husband & wife team, Ashley & Cristina. They recently expanded to Guildford (Surrey), opening their second gallery space 'Forest Gallery Studio & Framing' with on-site framing and customer parking. The galleries offer a portfolio of over 100 international artists covering a wide variety of styles from traditional to contemporary.

The ethos at Forest is delivering unique, great-quality artwork at affordable prices. Both galleries are praised for having a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, where expertise is channelled into supporting clients and giving 5-star customer service.

“Items in a gallery exhibition are marked with a red dot when sold. Items without a red dote are available for sale. Not here; at the desk when you say "I want to purchase this artwork" you can instead be told you can only purchase if potential buyers that are yet to make a decision have declined to purchase. Don't be their substitute buyer!!”

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts and frustrations. We appreciate your disappointment in missing out on this original painting by Sean Durkin. We have tried our best to be as fair as possible during the event and respect as much as we could people’s time to decide their preferences. However, sometimes it is impossible to avoid disappointment when two people want the same piece. Please keep in mind that this has been an extremely rare event and more paintings from Sean will be coming along soon.

“The giclee prints are superb and came very well packed, although I have to suggest you reconsider your delivery company. I am in a block of flats. When delivery was announced over the intercom, I opened the front door remotely. Normally, parcels are left in the hall, so I was surprised when I went down to collect it, that it was nowhere in sight. I eventually found it propped up against the wall outside, in the rain.”

“The forest gallery is one of my favourite galleries. Practically every time I visit I buy another painting. I look at the internet site often and recently I noticed another great painting by Veronica Benoni of Venice. The painting looked really good but I had to go to the gallery to have a proper look. I purchased the painting as it was quite amazing. Once again thanks Ashley and Cristina for an excellent and friendly service. “Phoned the gallery for some information and they were extremely helpful. Explained the process and talked me through delivery times and expectations based on my quite quick turnaround request. So helpful in fact that by sending me an invoice for one piece to pay directly to speed things up I ended up having to pay an additional £5 for delivery of my second item which I bought on the website! Still waiting on the print but the sculpture arrived the next day.”

“It’s always a pleasure dealing with Forest Gallery. They offer a great selection of original art at affordable prices, and showcase local artists too. We’d been looking for a piece of art to suit a bare wall in our snug room, and spotted something on Forest Gallery’s website. Despite being in lockdown, they were very happy for us to have the painting on approval for 7 days, and delivered it to us the same day. We absolutely loved it, fixed it in position and paid the same day.”
