“I paid extra for the fire guard to be delivered the following day as there was a family gathering. I have a log burner, the fire guard covers the whole of the hearth and the width of the chimney breast. Assembled quite quickly and put to immediate use. It doesn’t lend itself to easy folding as it’s held together by screw and nuts. I’ve opted to store under the window when not needed. Perfect for keeping little ones away from the hot stove.”
