A very beneficial tool to help anyone with hearing loss, which can be either multi directional use or direct use when having one to one meeting or group meeting. The clarity of sound is 100% and will give you the confidence to engage with individuals or groups of people. R.H NHS employee

I have nothing but praise for the whole FM Hearing team. They were always there with advice before ordering, and help after too, they don't take your money and run. I was talking to a Phonak rep, and he said that FM Hearing had developed an excellent reputation, and he now recommends them to potential clients.

The equipment is easy to use, was straightforward to set up and has given me a new lease of life in my day to day work. As my work is primarily telephone based - the equipment is invaluable. Thank you for all your help and support in helping me get my work life back!

When I was told I was losing my hearing and I had to wear hearing aids I wondered whether or not I would be able to continue in my role in a call centre taking telephone calls. The headset I originally wore was uncomfortable sat on my hearing aids and I searched for equipment that would help me in the job to do this. I came across the Phonak Roger pen and when I first saw it, I wasn't quite sure on how it would work. It was ordered, arrived and i was asked to visit the audiologist to ensure the right settings were on my hearing aid. A lovely member of staff came to fit it to telephone equipment and ensure I was aware of how it would work and what settings were available. Since then it has opened up a whole new world at work. I am able to continue in my job, I am also able to take it to team meetings and briefings as it can be worn round the neck of the speaker so that I would be able to hear them and not background noise. Also I have been told that it can be plugged into speakers for radio and tv but have not yet tried this. I can hear from up to 10 metres away and when I receive a call it goes directly into my hearing aids which can confuse people as they don't realise that I am on the phone. It would be beneficial for a wireless microphone to be used rather than wearing the headset around my neck to gain microphone access, but I love it!

Made a massive difference in cutting out the level of noise whilst on telephone appointments. Overall a very good piece of equipment.

I purchased the Phonak ComPilot II to use as a remote for my Phonak Hearing aids and after my Audiologist paired them to my Aids I did not look back. I then purchased a Phonak TV Link for my main Television. The TV Link changed my life, I could hear the Television perfectly, so much so that I could hear all the background noises in dramas. How long has it been that I have not heard these noises. I then purchased another TV Link for my other Television, brilliant technology. I then wanted to sort out other difficult situations like meetings at work. I contacted FM Hearing Solutions to find the best setup for the Roger Pen, they guided me brilliantly and I now have a Roger Pen and Receiver that links into my ComPilot II. What a set up brilliant in hearing clearly in meetings at work. I am now enquiring about telephones for home to help me on the phone. FM Hearing Solutions have been very prompt in their replies, the goods always turned up next day and of course as they are for personal use I get the goods VAT free. Brilliant service and I would recommend them to provide a brilliant service. Thank you.

I have suffered with over 50% hearing loss for a very long time. I have been so used to getting by, much to the delight of some of my conversations with my friends and family when I don't quite hear what has been said. I was recently diagnosed with IIH, Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertention, which has not only effected my vision but has had a knock on effect with my hearing as well. I have struggled in my workplace, again due to stubborness and pride with regards to my hearing, but as a result of my illness my work assessed my needs and I was given a Roger Pen system which works directly with my hearing aids and my phone system and it has brought a new confidance to me. I find the roger pen excellent for use with my blackberry phone as I am now able to make and receive calls whereas this was impossible before. It is not as effective I find in a meeting/group scenario but my prior interest was in using it to make calls so this is fine.

It is such a huge help all round. I have yet to have my aids set to make the pen compatible with telephones but so far have found this to be a brilliant piece of invention! It is brilliant in the way the clarity of sound is right there and for me, allows me to not miss out on what is going on around me, as was always the case. Really delighted with how much this has helped and it's also very discreet too.

Stephen had this equipment in October 2014 and to be honest it has never worked. What was amazing that the same person who came to advise what equipment to get then changed who she was working for and came to fit the equipment and left knowing that it wasn't working correctly. We are now left with equipment that does not work and is not fit for purpose having paid a large sum of money for both the equipment and the people who came to advise and fit it.

Extremely harsh review! Will look into this but my understanding was that hearing aid worked fine and BAHA had a fault, we checked all our own equipment thoroughly to make sure there was no fault with our own equipment. Our last communications were asking how things were going after you were looking into fault with BAHA? Will email directly to see if we can further assist but we can't help if we don't know the issue is unresolved.
Great, fast, instant customer service. Their onsite audiologist was able to answer any queries I had regarding compatibility the same day and my order was posted quickly and efficiently. Excellent after care service too.

The Roger pen is a fantastic equipment, It really does help me in my work place, it has so many functions to use. I will admit I don't fully use all function yet but that will change in the future. It is very easy to set up and I highly recommend this product. I does clarify sounds for me and I can't go a day without the Pen, sometimes my office gets extremely noisy with other people speaking and this pen generally helps. Thank you.

This system has made a massive diffrence in my working role, I work on the Customer Call Centre and without the equipment provided it would not have been possible to keep my position within my role. I would also like to point out that the support, advice and the understanding from FM Hearing has been fantastic, Nothing is too much trouble for them and they can be contacted via E-mail or telephone and respond almost straight away to any problems or if I needed advice. I have even received an E-mail asking how im doing. Overall this fantastic state of the art equipment mixed with the best company for support and help has made my life much easier Thank You Paul from FM Hearing Systems for everything.

I cannot believe the difference this has made to me. I can now go to meetings with the confidence I can hear everything and not have to interrupt or ask afterwards "what did they say?". I enjoy walking but felt frightened wearing headphones when walking as I could not always hear people behind me or traffic. This has changed since I got the Roger pen and I'm regularly pounding the pavement whilst singing out of tune, much to the amusement of my friends. Using the phone at work has become easier and clearer, however I must remember I can hear other conversations on that phone if i've not disconnected......I'm not giving it back, Its been only a few weeks but already life changing.

I was very impressed with FM Hearing. The supplier, Paul was very helpful in ensuring I received the correct equipment prior to shipping it out. Once it came, I met with a lovely lady, Gill to give me an overview of how to use the equipment and give me tips how best to use it for my working environment which was useful. I have since managed to use it and still consult the booklet but I am getting there. I have used it for some meetings and a conference and cannot believe how much I picked up, which I must have missed not realising! I have since had an email to check I am managing OK and this service has been much appreciated. Thanks all round.

I was so glad to have recieved an assessment by access to work and their recomendation for this lifechanging equipment. I have found noticable difference in work life and personal life as the equipment has allowed me to be involved and included in different activities and conversations. Noticable reduced frustration and increased confidence when listening to people on the phone and making telephone calls. (Roger where have you been all my life?) I wish I had been introduced to Roger equipment by academic support at university when being assessed for a diabled student allowance . (mature student) More promotion of the equipment with student academic support services would enable others like myself to overcome difficulties expereinced by people who are deaf or hard of hearing.. It would be beneficial to have more than one telephone docking station if you work in a shared office where there is more than one phone.

The pen is excellent as has been the service. However please do not bother sending me another docking station as , until Phonak sort out the time-out when charging I already have one more than I need! Seriously, thanks for all you help; the Pen has proved invaluable.
