My car was driven to my delivery address from Hull to Nottingham and had 107 miles on the clock at handover. Effectively, in my eyes making this car second hand, at the point of handover. I have leased many vehicles and have always had them delivered on a low loader with 0 miles on the clock. We will have to assume that the delivery driver was a responsible person and didn’t thrash it all the way. I would have preferred collection but I was not given the option.

Hello Mike and thanks for leaving your review. We can't improve without this kind of information. In this case however we have tried numerous ways of mitigating against unhappy customers with driven delivery, most of the time - but not always successfully! We used to offer transported delivery, but due to the driver hour regulations and sheer volume of deliveries, the cost became prohibitive to most people then with an extremely low take up rate ,it was ended a couple of years back. We also used to offer for the client to go and collect their new car (and some customers liked this idea) but due to the way that a lot of deals operate now, vehicles coming from Ports and PDi centres nationally, the logistics of this and the insurance coverage not being suitable for the public, we had to stop this too. Leaving us with the driven delivery. There can be the odd exception when a dealer own their own transport and do multiple deliveries from a trailer but this is rare. We will continue to monitor this situation moving forward however and also continue to explore all avenues. We do hope now that the new car is with you that you enjoy it and please know that your mileage allowance won’t begin until the vehicle reaches you, so this won’t affect your overall allowance. Excellent process from start to finish, bit of an “Old man & technology” issue maybe a bit more user friendly would reduce chase up calls. Car was covered in sand when delivered would be my only criticism 👍🏻

But we understand where you are coming from about the technology! Whilst striving to comply with our regulators does increase the amount i's to be dotted and t's to be crossed and this seems like the best way to go! We hope the new car is treating you well! The car we wanted was out of stock, and we were told the only one available for the date we required was the next model up which was a further £40.00 per month. We agreed to this and were promised the vehicle for the middle of September. On trying to arrange delivery, we were told that this vehicle was not in the country and would not be delivered until almost the end of September. The vehicle arrived on 27.9.18 and my employee was left without a vehicle for a few days and was unable to come to work. Very disappointing.

Hi Keri and thanks for sharing your feedback online as without it we can't improve. Unfortunately in the market we operate, as a leasing broker, bulk stock offers can sell out very quickly, they can often be available nationally and there is little anyone can do to control this. Delivery times from Manufacturers can and do often fluctuate. This can be for a number of reasons, parts shortages (known as back order), shipping delays or adverse weather even, to give a few examples. This is applicable for vehicle brokers and dealerships alike unfortunately and often it's very much beyond our control. We would as a business very much like for this not to be the case and we're very sorry that your car was delayed. We are glad that you now have the vehicle and hope it looks after your employee well. I have had four conversations with various people at FVL All promised to call me back with the relevant information. Nobody ever did/has. I will not be renewing with FVL.

It started slow first getting details wrong and everything went well after that and on the last stage FVL gave me the wrong number plate to insurane the vecheal and we got there at the end. But the car is lovely my wife and myself enjoying driving it. Thank you
