“Ordered a product for someone's birthday and paid extra for delivery so it would arrive on time. Product did not arrive and when I got in touch was told that there hadn't been an update on my order and it appeared to be late. Although I got a refund I would not use Firebox again.”

“My order did not arrive in the delivery date range specified at time of order, so it arrived too late for the event I’d ordered it for. No Online delivery status check was available other than that my order had shipped, so it wasn’t clear that the package would be delayed. Very disappointed and do not plan to order from Firebox again in the future.”

We have taken a look into your order and can see it was sent out on Dec 9th using International Airmail Untracked. Due to your chosen delivery method, there is no way to locate the whereabout of the parcel or provide any information about the progress after it leaves our warehouse. Additionally, since you checked out as a guest there wouldn't have been any further information should your package have been tracked. This feature is only available through orders made with an account and with tracked deliveries. We reached out to you directly on Feb 3rd in regard to your order, we wanted to see if there was anything else we could to to help and make it up to you for the inconvenience. However, we have not heard from you. “I’ve used firebox several times before. I like the range of different and quirky items which are great for gifts. However. The delivery charges,in my opinion, remain too high. Also - and this happened last year too - one of the items I wanted was unavailable. Higher demand around Christmas should be anticipated and extra stock held. Finally, one of my items came in a significantly damaged box (it was a game so the box is necessary). Since originally writing this review, Firebox have been in touch to rectify my issue. Fair play to them, they have refunded the damaged item and given me a discount on my next order. Hence, I have upgraded my rating from 2 to 4 stars.”

“Honestly would never buy from Firebox again. My item was ordered at the beginning of December (it was a Christmas present) and never arrived. I emailed them twice and got no response. I sent them a message on whatsapp which i did get a response to and then once again got no response after that. Every time I wanted a response on Whatsapp I had to send another message asking for an update (and I was waiting like a week). Eventually I did get a refund, but it took me about 6 weeks from ordering my item to resolving the problem so took a lot longer than it should and the customer service was just terrible.”
