Yodel damaged my delivery label so it only arrived on the 24th after I contacted them

We ordered the Booze box as a gift for family and one of the bottles inside was broken. Probably happened in transit but maybe the goods inside the box should be protected a bit better.

Unfortunately, during Christmastime, we had some technical problems. Our system could not transmit the order and therefore the delayed delivery occurred. Please excuse the inconvenience caused. In this day and age you need to speak to someone straight away if something goes wrong. 2 days for a response is far too high. And when you do respond it takes another 2 days on top of that. Ridiculous. Take note from amazon

As we have learned from the foregoing correspondence which you already had with our customer service, you had some problems with the order of an item, which was unfortunately out of stock. We can understand that this is of course very annoying. Our customer service was demanded during the Christmas season. As a result, there were regrettable delays in responding to customer queries. This is not our kind of service, and we say SORRY again. I really hope you will be able to forgive us and give us a second chance to make up for our mistakes. All the best Firebox

Hadn't bought from firebox for years and all is still good: as Amazon wouldn't deliver this without a person of at least 18 being on site and as firebox use Yodel, who would, it's a no-brainer. Thanks firebox.

Waited longer than expected for delivery however when contacted the company they were very good with a response. I asked for gift wrap which I was disappointed with the wrapping as all it was was gold wrapping paper nothing fancy no ribbons or detail costing £3.99 . I could have done it better & cheaper making it look special for a surprise gift.
