“My family and I placed a large Christmas order with a turkey, several different roasting joints, bacon, sausage and extras. We were delighted with the quality and taste of every item and will be ordering more frequently as a family. The delivery came in time, was well packaged and we could not fault our order in any way.”

“Been getting deli, cheese and meat items from Field and Flower for a long time now (over two years). I prefer to support independent retailers so have stuck with them, but the quality of the food can be hit-and-miss. Have had to cut down on pork as it tastes very "piggy" (long strongly of the male pig, which isn't a pleasant taste). Sometimes the whole chickens are very sinewy and not as tasty as from our local butcher. Recently I ordered an unsmoked gammon for Christmas which was meant to feed 4-6 people but it was laughably tiny: about a third of the size of the one in the photo on their website. Photo shows it next to an espresso cup, it wasn't much bigger out of the packaging vs the photo of what we were expecting.”

“Quality of F&F products is generally great. Pricey - turkey was extremely expensive but totally delicious so worth it as a one off. On a general note, sometimes joints have too much fat - I've just received a 1kg horseshoe gammon joint, the meat itself is very small as it has a huge layer of thick fat/skin which is totally useless. No need to include so much of that within the weight I'm paying for as F&F meat is usually marbled well with enough fat to increase flavour when cooking anyway. Best things - all chicken products. Beef roasting joints prohibitively expensive.”

“The Christmas order was wonderful. The turkey breast, recommended for four, fed six, the trimmings were delicious and the gravad lax we ate beforehand was superb. The cheeses gave us a fabulous opportunity to sample some lovely regional products that we will continue to search out. Altogether a really memorable meal. Thank you.”
