“Absolutely gutted. Was meant to go to a Comedy night with a friend we both have covid so can’t go . We were hoping we could change the date but no not even a refund as The policy states not allowed to do either. The only way to not lose money is to transfer tickets to somebody else who has the app unfortunately we couldn’t find anyone short notice. So we have lost our money.”
“We never got our 6 tickets. Very hard to reach company. Looking on fever app it appeared as the 6 tickets were canceled weeks before the event. We are out $267.00. Never again will we deal with Fever. I will follow up with BBB again.”
“I wish I had read the reviews , same story here . My event got cancelled and I only found out via a notice on the door after an hours worth of driving . The event was for my 7 year and 5 year old so you can imagine the disappointment. I will be reporting them as this company is clearly making a habit out of it. I asked them for company details and they refused.”
“Same story here. Bought 3 tickets, they said they sent an email and vouchers to use by 6/27/2021. I never saw it. When it got close to time to the event, I heard online it was cancelled. Thats when I loaded the app and looked in 'Vouchers' there was 1. This was for Van Gogh . We went to Dining in the Dark which was rescheduled way later and the food was meh. I am contacting BBB .”
“Absolute daylight robbery!! They take money for tickets and suddenly change the date with no consultation or alternative option and claim to not offer refunds when they are the ones
cancelling events. How is this legal?! I will be reporting them to the relevant body.”
“Fever is not a legitimate company. I bought tickets for my wife and I to Van Gough; they said they changed the date. then they refused to let me see the show or give me a refund.”
“If I could give thisless stars I would. Heartbroken children expecting to go to Chocolate Factory for a birthday cancelled 3 times! Avoid like the plague. Worst company ever!!!”
“Do NOT use this service - they have no clear refund policy and they might change the event you purchased, without your requesting or validating the change. I am absolutely appalled to find out that, after 1.5y of postponing due to corona, 30+ emails from Fever and very unclear communication, my tickets are no longer valid. Shame!”
“Badly managed Manchester 2021:
Drunk man in the audience behaved aggressively; yelling and bawling, shouting expletives. No one intervened at any point, despite constant disruption through the performance or in the interest of audience comfort and safety. He was so disruptive, the conductor asked him to relax!!”
“I hate them. I’ve been trying to get in touch for months. No one will respond. There’s no phone number. I bought Van goh tickets for my friends and I had questions. I just hate them.”
“I am unable to transfer tickets to my friend unless she opens an account. I feel that is wrong, all u want is her information so you can sell it out and that is not righ. I should be able to send it to her without opening and acct. It is annoying and harassment to have to open and acct to receive tickets as gifts”
“AWFUL! They canceled the event and now refuse to refund my money - it's been nearly 30 days and they're telling me to be patient. No. They're just straight up stealing.”
“Crooks! I bought 4x tickets to a gig on a Saturday and the very
next day the said that all Saturdays have been cancelled and that a voucher has been issued for the money which had to be redeemed within two months. This is a horrendous outcome and I am disgusted that they is how they conduct business.”
“I bought tickets for the Van Gogh exhibit in Philadelphia which was cancelled. They didn’t even bother contacting me. When asking for a refund they told me they would process it and never did. They are liars and this app is a scam BEWARE FEVER APP IS A SCAM!!!”
“said I could change dates for 2 tickets and then cancelled my tickets without being able to change dates. Fever has the worst customer service and took my money without rendering services”
“Worst first experience ever. NEVER AGAIN. I bought tickets for my sister and I back in June for an exhibition in September, choosing not only the day but a specific time slot as requested. The emails encourage you to download the app to “access your contactless tickets” and “get real time updates.” Additionally, “We have updated the venue in the app TO AVOID CONFUSION. You can check the location, date & time of your tickets in the ticket section of your Fever app.”
Today, we travel all the way to the exhibition to find it was closed. No notice or signage on the exhibition doors, no email, notification, text, nothing in the app to inform us what was going on. The “ticket section” of my profile within the app didn’t even show my purchased tickets, nothing. So I had to call customer services to find out they had moved the date to November 1st!!!! There was no reason given for this, no responsibility taken as they happily played the role of third party and although they agreed to refund me.....there is no real compensation for the time they’d wasted. My sister has one day off a week and I had bought these tickets as a pick me up to commemorate a loved one so you can imagine how upsetting this was. Our entire day was planned around this, and the location made it impossible to do anything else with our day after.
To top it all off, I received an email notifying me of my refund but also a separate note saying, “We would like to let you know that, as an exception , we have refunded your purchase.”
“As an exception”???....How very dare you make a point of this as if you’re doing me any favours??? This is the bare minimum I would expect after wasting both our time and money!!! I am beyond offended. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN.”
“TOTAL RIPOFF: do not buy from them if you are in lockdown. I've been in Sydney lockdown for 3 months, they didn't listen and told me to apply for voucher credits for the same event that only lasted 2 months. They changed the date of the event in Sydney without telling me until the very last minute and my credits expired. That was for $110 and I will never use their site again.”
