“I ordered a chess board and the wrong board was delivered. The customer services was very good and responded quickly and we managed to come to a agreement and I kept the board that was sent to me and received some money back. I would buy from them again I think this was just a random mistake.”

“Ordered a personalized gift for a 40th birthday present on express delivery. Not only did it not arrive on time, it did not arrive at all. On multiple attempts at contacting the company I finally got a response to say they did not know where the gift was and they couldn't replace it as it was no longer in stock. Extremely poor all round.”

“The best companies reveal themselves as such when handling something that goes wrong. I ordered a chess board with commemorative engraving for my son and fiancée. The tracking revealed it was to be carried by Royal Mail and was due to be collected from the company’s premises. Three days later, I noted the tracking progress hadn’t changed. I called Customer Service and spoke to Martha. What a star! Warm, intelligent, perceptive, active and efficient approach. She replicated the order including the engraving and had it sent out for next day delivery by DPD. At which point Royal Mail tracking revived itself and confirmed that the initial order was also being delivered next day! I called Customer Services once more to have them cancel the 2nd delivery. I spoke to a gentleman who immediately grasped the situation and sorted it out there and then. Again I was impressed with the quality of response. My son and fiancée love their high quality chess board and I love the equally high quality customer service. A very good experience.”

“I ordered this as a gift, it came beautifully packaged in a nice box and tissue paper. It was packed in a much larger cardboard box outside so it wasn’t damaged in any way. I got it engraved with a name and it looked fantastic, so professional. It hasn’t been used yet but it looks like a really high quality product and well finished, the leather is really smooth and soft and overall looks great”

“Ordered a Acaia wood magnetic knife block. The order arrived on time but was completely useless. It wouldn't even hold a small kitchen knife in place securely, larger ones fell straight off. Not o lying impracticable but dangerous.”
