“The Barbour shoe cleaning box arrived with my husband’s initials on the shoehorn, beautifully engraved. Box very well wrapped and delivered within 24hrs. Will definitely order again from this British company.”

“I changed the delivery day for Monday as I was home, courier ignored this and decided to deliver on Tuesday. However I wasn't home and didn't know this was arriving on the Tuesday, courier dumped this outside on my door step in full view of everyone walking past. I got home at 8pm that evening to find this missing. This was supposed to be a wedding gift. Rung up Farrar and Tanner who are taking time investigating this... at the expense of me and my time/money. Useless customer service. Should be sorting this out in their time not my time while they hold onto MY money!”

Hi Ema, Thank you for your review, I am so sorry to see the issues with the courier. Our customer service team offered to resend the order to you but as you had purchased a gift elsewhere you requested a full refund. We are still within the 48 hour timeframe for our investigation with Royal Mail and will update you the moment we hear back from them. “The chopping board I ordered as a present to my husband was perfect. It was the slightly bigger than most of the boards on the market and it was exactly what I was looking for as the right price too. I had some help from customer service when personalising the board and they were super helpful. The board came very well packaged and it arrived in perfect condition.”

“Excellent No10 knife for cutting daffodils that I sell and taking the heads off plants. Highly recommended and with the added engraving gives confidence if lost to be identified as mine.”

“The product is as generally good quality although I wasn't expecting plastic counters. The main fail was the packaging. The outer box was damaged due to the packaging box being too small. Not the worst thing but an unnecessary reason to take the shine off a small indulgence.”

Hi Simon, I'm so sorry to see this. I'd like to fix this for you and have a new box shipped out for you if that's something you'd be interested in? Alternatively I can offer a refund on your shipping fee. We are in the process of upgrading our shipping packaging to avoid this kind of damage happening again. “I bought a silver lantern from Farrar & Tanner (Made in Germany, not in China!!!) as a Birthday gift for my husband and I was very impressed with the speedy delivery. Highly recommend the company, they have many quality products to choose from. Will definitely buy from them again.”
