“In need of quality kitchen knives at a good price, I went online and the set from Farrar & Tanner leapt out at me. I placed my order, the knife set arrived a few days later well-packaged without much plastic. The knives are great. My last set had (good quality) plastic handles which eventually broke. These are moulded steel from handle to tip. The handle fits the hand beautifully, the blades are good and sharp, and the wooden block with its steel band looks very smart on my kitchen counter.”

“Excellent product and excellent service! Ordered the Vera Wang cake knife set with engraving for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding. When contacted, Farrar & Tanner were very obliging with respect to the engraving request. Order and delivery turn around time was very fast. Price was very competitive with other retailers. Dear Guy, We do offer a free returns service if you're ever unhappy with any of our products. I believe you purchased a handmade wood rustic trug by Burgon and Ball. The poplar wood has been sustainably sourced and has retained its natural grain for a country cottage style. As it's handmade from sustainable poplar wood, the £33 price tag is fair but as mentioned above, happy to refund or exchange the item. Kind regards, Jude
