“The engraved silver oval cuff links I bought as a gift for my son’s 21st birthday were disappointing. The engraving was poor and the surface was scratched. I contacted customer services but to date (2 days later) have not received a response. I would not buy a personalised gift from them again.”

“Actual product looks very good. However was sent in a scruffy gift box that looked to have been damaged whilst packaged. Asked for another to be sent out to me as the product is a gift but I am still waiting for this.”

“I ordered some of the Dominoes with custom engraving for a work colleague's retirement, I saw good reviews so placed the order. They arrived promptly however upon opening the engraved plaque was not centred or even straight. They refunded the engraving cost but does not explain how this passed the quality check.”

“The service from Farrar & Tanner was exemplary. On-time and budget. Highly recommended. The product Lagoiule Sommelier - Dark Horn Handle corkscrew is very disappointing. Ergonomically difficult, poorly designed. I have many vastly cheaper versions which are far superior...Waiter's Friend for instance.”

“I bought four chopping boards, Chop Chop by Rio Lindo, and am very pleased with my purchase. The goods arrived well packed and within the time frame quoted. They were despatched by Royal Mail which we have found to be one of the best carriers (maybe we are just lucky with our postman)”
