“Delivery was let down by Royal Mail not Farrar & Tanner; paid for Sunday delivery but they delivered the following day. There was an item missing from the order but after a phone call and speaking to Sue at Customer Service, she quickly and efficiently sorted the matter. Very pleased with the gin & tonic knives as these were ordered for gifts to take overseas.”

“I placed an order with this 'company' 11 days later I still havnt received it even though they say order before 2 for some day dispatch, I have no order confirmation emails, con merchants it seems, I filled in a contact form on the website , when I completed it it didn't go through asking to try later, they have kept my money, DO NOT BUT FROM THEM, PROBABLY A FAKE WEBSITE, IM CONTACTING TRADING STANDARDS.”

“I am not a fan of internet shopping - I miss being able to view the quality of a product on the hight street, However the wallet that I bought from Farrar and Tanner as a gift was of excellent quality and exactly as described. I can definitely recommend.”

“There was a fault in the etching on the glass. I contacted Customer Services, returned the glass and received a personalised replacement the next morning - in time for the birthday celebration that day. The recipient was delighted with her present. I don’t think you could ask for more in terms of ensuring customer satisfaction, I would happily order again from this company.”

“Lovely leather bag arrived much sooner than expected in a sturdy box. Exactly as described\pictured on website. I doubt any airline would view it as hand luggage due to size and I've actually packed for 4 days in it already. Only slight reservation is the base leather is so soft the brass stud feet may only work if bag full. Scuff pattern will no doubt appear in time.”
