“Thank you so much for your incredible meat. This is the best I've had since leaving rural Vietnam. You can definitely taste the sweetness and freshness of the meat and paying that little bit of extra money totally justifies it. We got the chicken and beef, both are so delicious..we will be buying regularly from you and have already told lots of others near and far. Not many organic meat are grass fed so thanks again for going the extra mile to keep the food chemical and grain free - makes a big difference”

“The delivery is very quick and well packaged. The meat is first class and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is nice to know the animals are free range and grass fed as all farm animals should be.”

“I like the quality of the meat and the humane conditions the animals are kept in. I hope there will be more farms that try to do this. Chicken feet and ox tail are my favourite for a nutritious broth full of collagen. I hope the stocks last this year ;-) Regards Marek”

“The only thing that I can knock a star off for is that the price per kilo on the page does not match what I actually paid, and that I couldn't buy the joint in as large a piece as I wanted. This applies to other things I bought too. However, the delivery was quick, the packaging is first class, and the product is wonderful. The Topside joint is what we've sampled so far, and it was just delicious. It served more meals than the same weight meat from else where has usually done too, simply due to less shrinkage whist cooking, and the fact that there is no waste. Would certainly recommend, though please have your price per kilo actually reflect true price.”

Hi Suzanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and share your feedback. I'm really pleased to hear that you have enjoyed our beef Topside joint and that you found the delivery quick and the packaging first class. In response to your comments relating to the accuracy of the advertised price per kilo, I will try and explain below how the pack prices are calculated on our website, and hopefully, reassure you of their accuracy. To calculate the price, it is important to understand that we sell our meat in weight bands. In the case of the 1.25kg topside joint you purchased, we will have supplied you with a joint weighing between 1.25kg and 1.5kg. The price point for this joint is set in the middle of the weight band and using the advertised price per kilo we determine the pack price. In this instance, it would be 1.375kg x £13.20/kg = £18.15, which is the price you paid. The price is, therefore, an average price, which we feel is the fairest way to calculate it. Sometimes you may get a little bit more meat than you paid for and sometimes a little less, but calculated over the entirety of your order the weights and prices generally balance out. I hope this makes sense. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us with your feedback. We have certainly taken your comments on board and will look to see if we can make the use of our price/kg indicator and pack price calculations on the website a little more easy to understand. “This is the way meat should taste! Some of you may not be old enough to remember back in the 60's and 70's when you bit into a piece of meat and the flavour overwhelmed your taste buds. Gradually, with modern farming methods, this has disappeared and we're left with tasteless meat pumped with water, coming from neglected, often cruelly kept animals. We visited Farm2Fork, and the animals are kept exactly as describe on the website, truly free range. They seem so happy and healthy, and the meat is the best I've ever tasted, or at least the best I can ever remember tasting! You get what you pay for with meat, and I'd rather have less meat but better quality. We won't buy from anywhere else.”

“The chicken is very tasty. I haven't eat all the peices yet. I was dismayed at the packaging. Cardboard box, polystyrene box, aluminium bubble bag, each pack had plastic tray inside vacuum plastic bag. I accept this is because transport of fresh meat is not easy but that is too much packaging for my conscience. Sorry.”
