“I absolutely LOVE my Burbidge Moonphase - it is a beautiful watch. My first Farer, but certainly not my last. Shipping was so fast (to the USA) and I especially appreciated the custom engraving.”

“Purchased the Exmooor II online direct from Farer, to replace a Hamilton Khaki field watch that didn't quite meet expectations for an outdoors watch. The Farer looks great and is highly legible, the sailcloth strap is exactly the look I wanted, and the water resistance is vastly superior. The only quibble I have is that the date numerals are unreadably tiny to my (admittedly imperfect) eyes, so the pointer date turns out not to be a useful feature, unless I eventually memorize the positions of the dates relative to the hour markers. (Larger numerals, staggered high and low to keep them distinct, might be a design to consider.) The orange color for 28-31 makes them virtually invisible; this strikes me as cute design for its own sake, and something of a negative on what is intended to be a tool watch. Maybe try yellow, if there's a utility that I'm not aware of. (I tend to know when the rent is due.) Overall I'm quite happy with it: with great utility and good looks as well, it's become my daily watch.”

“Stanhope III ist meine erste Uhr die ich bei Ihnen erworben habe. Ich bin durch den Uhrenkenner Mario Lenke auf dieses Modell aufmerksam gemacht worden. Mitlerweile ist sie bei mir angekommen und erfreut mich am Handgelenk. Ich liebe Kissenhüllengehäuse. Die Gestaltung des Ziffernblatts und die Verarbeitungsqualität der Uhr sind herrausragend.”

“The Watch (Cushion Case Stanhope III) is even more beautiful in life than on pictures. The dial is a work of art and the shape of the case is just perfect. The movement in my case is perfectly tuned to ~ +1 sec/day. I got the watch on a blue Leather Strap (which I was actually plannung on using) and an optional Milanese Bracelet. The Leather Strap looks awesome on the watch but unfortunately (this is my only gripe) it is very thick and stiff on the lug ends which leads to an awkward sit/fit on my rather small wrist (16.7cm). The Milanese on the other hand wears super comfy and looks prestine as well. However it makes the watch very dressy and is not suited well for a casual look. I ended up buying the classic cushion metal bracelet, which wears very comfortable and has a proper sporty look to it. I'm also eyeballing a Moonphase, so having a selection of nice straps doesn't hurt since they are easily swapped. Last but not least. The buying experience with Farer was flawless. “I originally wanted the Farer Thurso, but it was sold out. I hemmed and hawed for quite a while about maybe getting the Freshwater as a second choice, but felt like it was a compromise on my part, when I compared to the Thurso. After weeks of looking at options, I finally made the decision to go ahead with the Freshwater. I've now been wearing my new Freshwater every day for a week, and I love it. I look at it, turn it so I can look at the reflection of the circular indices on the polished steel wall under the bezel, watch the accented second had sweep around, admire the blend of colors that stand out yet harmonize together. Maybe it's only because they happen to the be the colors of my wardrobe, but I could not be happier with this watch. It's my favorite thing.”

“This thing is beautiful. It is constructed amazingly. The lume could be a little brighter but I think I'm just blind. I love the blue and pink color scheme and the suede band is amazing. This is one of my top 5 watches. One big downside to this watch is that unless it's your "one and done" favorite watch, the moon phase is somewhat defeated by the manual winding. I like to switch my watches a bit and so I wish I could have thrown this onto my watch winder to keep it going. Instead I find myself going to the watch case to wind this thing so I can keep the moon going.”

“A beautifully designed and thoughtfully packaged watch. It made a great 30th birthday present to myself. I especially appreciated that a short strap option came with the 36mm watch; it's the perfect length for me. The option to hand engrave a message on the back was a nice touch.”

“I recently purchased the Farer Burbidge moon phase watch and the service I received was great receiving the watch in good time. The watch itself was one that I have considered for some time and it has not disappointed. The dial and watch case are both fantastic. There is one slight gripe though, that I would say has not been covered in reviews I have seen, which is that the legibility could be better. Even with my reading glasses on I cannot read the date in low light and sometimes the time is also difficult to read with the slim silver hands difficult to make out against the ice blue dial. However, if Farer did anything to change that it would probably ruin the look of the fantastic dial. So not a big issue but just something to be aware of.👍”
