“Spent a lot of time researching, ordered and paid, after a day received an email to say not in stock, had to refund order before ordering a new product then unable to deliver on the day of original order,if a simple replacement had taken place they would have been able to honour delivery so had to cancel order, unable to speak to customer services either all after sales is via email, a whole sale lost rather than offering a replacement for the agreed date, shame as the flooring was affordable and appeared to be good quality”

“The floors are fine but looks like the driver took my sack trolley back with him.. He was kind enough to bring the rolls into the building as I couldn't carry them myself. I went back down after he left to bring the trolley back up but my industrial trolley was gone. I would have happily tipped him but he rushed off and decided to help himself to my trolley? I understand this delivery company isn't the usual one they use - but the service is poor. It was an industrial trolley.. Also curbside delivery is a joke. These rolls are heavy and its not easy to carry them. I'm a woman who can barely lift but was expected to bring the rolls in upto the second floor myself. I asked for a date/time to at least arrange for support from friends/family on the day of delivery to bring it up but all they gave me was a 30 minute heads up which did nothing for me.”

“Some difficulty was experienced fitting these together, the finished look, however is acceptable, I would not buy these again, the problem I had was matching the height of the existing floor. Had that not been the case I would have bought a thicker board which I have had success with before.”

“Ordering was straightforward. The product looks good in the packaging, but yet to lay so cannot comment on that. Unfortunately the delivery was a bit of a pain. Had to help the guy push the pallet up a slope (which was very heavy with two of us in the rain so maybe should have more than one person doing this). Also then ruined my top with the blue marker pen rubbing off the packaging in the rain as I carried it inside. Not sure if this was written on by the seller or delivery agent but rather annoying.”

“Happy with the flooring to an extent but considering it is advertised as ‘scratch resistant’ is extremely false. Ours is covered in scratches after laying it and we have only been walking across it. And even if we move something’s lightly across the floor it leaves massive scratches. Also think the delivery price is a bit on the high side considering your paying hundreds for the flooring.”

“Samples were a good reference but would have been great to be able to buy a single pack to build in the space to understand assembly and colour. Delivery was going to cost more than a single pack so moved to look at other suppliers”

“The flooring itself I cannot fault, it looks absolutely lovely. In terms of delivery I was not very pleased. I had selected for the flooring to be delivered on Thurs 23rd as I knew I would be at home to take delivery. On mon 21st whilst I was at work I had no email to indicate that they were delivering early and it was out for delivery that day and the flooring was just left on our driveway all day whilst we were both out with no further email either to say it had been delivered. When you're spending £260 on a product for it to just be left unattended all day it's very poor of the company. Communication needs to be a lot better.”

“Ordering the flooring was a simple enough process, getting it delivered proved trickier. It was meant to have been delivered on Friday 11th, but allegedly there was an issue with the courier so I was told I could either have it delivered on Saturday 12th or Monday 14th, I chose Saturday 12th. The day came and went without my flooring being delivered. So on Monday morning I rang Factory Direct Flooring and told them what had happened and that I chose Saturday as there wouldn't be anyone in on Monday to accept the delivery. The chap on the other end of the phone didn't really seem all that interested but said he would look into it and get back to me, but didn't... Interestingly about 5 minutes after I had spoken to him I received a text message saying my delivery was to be made that day and it was but as there was nobody at home to check it,they just left it on the drive. Thankfully there wasn't any damage. Having paid £35 for delivery I don't think this sort of service is acceptable and based on this experience I would be reluctant to use Factory Direct Flooring again in the future.”

“I really loved the free samples provided to me. The shipping was fast and amazing. Quality was great, as well as the color I needed. I went to the website directly to order my batch. But the insane high price demanded for shipping for my order discouraged me from buying. Product price was reasonable, but the shipping is just not right.”

“Arrived on time good quality product.The only downside being one of the boxes contained a corner being warped and damaged.Due to product being for my elderly mothers kitchen i could not inspect within the short 24 hour window.”

“I didn’t get the product from them in the end, because there was a problem with getting it delivered and having to wait until that could be resolved-i was not happy to wait so I cancelled the order. To be fair the customer service was helpful but I didn’t want to pay upfront and then wait for a delivery that was also then going to cost me a days leave.”

“Didn't receive any notification of delivery ( it's not in spam) and as I wasn't in it was left on a pallet with another address. I called the company and was very impressed with the customer service, who instantly agreed they would sent the courier back to uplift and re deliver. Fortunately the company it was delivered to had a fork lift and came out on the road and brought it to the top of my drive. Courier at fault.”
